The thing is that the engines were awful with efficiency on the ground, but once it got to its cruise... they were the most efficient engines ever made, able to got a compression ratio of 80:1!

The wing design reminds me of a Tu-144D wing, the one with NK-32-01 engines, the most powerful ones. Tu-144D with NK-32 is also a last breath of SST.

The concorde plane was grounded after accident shortly after takeoff in July of 2000 that killed all 109 passengers and crew on board and that's why concorde will never produced again it is a very scary ride that the airplane went down in flames almost immediately after takeoff
