Derek, It's Stone and Jeff's band. Eddie was the last of the original members. So I don't think he's in any position to take a chunk out of anyone. If Stone wants to change the song mid-show, then he gets to change the song mid-show.
the fact that you are the founder of a band doesnt give you the right to take on the other members.If the members wanna progress and continue for years they have to respect each other.You cant do whatever you want ever if you are the first member.And Pearl Jam wouldnt stay together for so many years if they didnt know that.I speak personally cause I have found a band too.

Stone has been heard saying so many times how there are different leaders in the band and that eddie is the best because he knows how to sit back and allow everyone to shine.
It's not just the smoking, maybe it has a little bit to do with that as well. But you guys don't seem to understand how much it takes to sing like he did. The vocie takes damage. You can sing like that for some years but at some point the voice can't no longer keep up like it did 8 years ago.

He's not what he used to be. Old albums don't sound right. Three bands plays them well, even better than the original, but Eddie is just old. It takes a toll on a voice. :(
