How to Pack Clothes for Traveling đđŒ

- When traveling, it's important to pack efficiently, be organized, and be smart. This video demonstrates a method to roll your clothing into a tight bundle, making it compact and easy to transport. Rolling your clothes is a great way to prevent wrinkles and conserve space. When you roll clothing, you can fit more than you can normally by folding or just placing clothes into your luggage bag. You can also apply this technique to tasks beyond traveling, such as relocating clothing and aiming to save space. You can use the same method for other clothing I did not demonstrate, such as shorts. Roll them in the same manner as the pants were rolled. Roll up small items like socks and underwear inside a T-shirt, placing them on top of the shirt.

The clothes rolling technique may seem like it takes longer than simply folding the clothes, but if you do it more, you will become more proficient and see that it really doesn't take much longer and produces better results.
If you are worried about wrinkling your clothing, you can unpack them when you reach your destination, and they shouldn't have any wrinkles yet. If your clothes have wrinkles, I have a video about removing wrinkles from clothes without an iron đ( âą How to Remove Wrinkles... )đ which shows some easy methods of removing wrinkles.
Clothing Traveling Tips: Some simple tips to help you pick suitable clothing for traveling.
#1: When choosing your clothing for a trip, look at each itemâs fabric and consider the following factors: quality, thickness, weight, wrinkles, transparency, and texture. Ideal travel clothing is durable, takes up minimal space and weight, is wrinkle-free, opaque, and matches the rest of your clothing in style and fit.
#2: Be aware of your color palette when selecting clothing. If your color palettes are cross-compatible, you will have many outfits from less clothing.
#3: Most places you go will have much of what you need. You can buy almost anything anywhere in the world. So you can get away with only packing half of what you think youâll need.
#4: Versatile, low-maintenance clothing is essential when packing light. Consider five factors that make an article of clothing desirable when traveling and aim to have each piece you bring satisfy at least 3 of them.
- Comfortable for touring around, but can be dressed up for the evening
- Is appropriate for cool or warm weather
- Doesnât show stains
- Folds up small
- Coordinates well with almost everything else youâre bringing
By doing this, you maximize the usage of each article of clothing so you can bring less.
#5: If youâre traveling longer than seven days, pack enough clothes for seven days, no matter how long. Itâs easier to find a Laundromat once a week than carry the extra weight of more clothing than necessary.
#6: Avoid clothing that is too bulky and may take up too much space. Instead of a bulky jacket, bring a light jacket and dress in layers.
#7: A long-sleeved and a short-sleeve button shirt and some T-shirts will work well for most places you travel to.
#8: Roll your clothing efficiently to allow for more space. The method I demonstrate can save a lot of space and enable you to pack lighter.

Thank you so muchđ
Omg this is SO sweet â€â€â€â€
Thank you dear....
Am I the only one who laid down to watch this and ended up delaying their packing to read the comments?
Thank you for the video by the way

Are you a mind reader or something đ
Fuck....you got me....
I find it very difficult. Too much trouble.
What I find to be the most efficient way of packing is to cut each piece of clothing into rectangles the size of your luggage, lay them down, and stack them up. Pack a needle and thread to sew them back together when you unpack. I can fit about 20 shirts, 10 pairs of pants, and 30 pairs of socks into a standard carry-on suitcase.
that's a very interesting way of putting clothing in a suitcase....
wouldn't that be a struggle?
That's the best
WTF, imagine having expensive clothing only to be torn apart!!
I was very invested.... and then I realized! lol
L
A couple of weeks later...
-Ok I finished packing, let's go!
Yeah this seems like it takes 3 weeks before the trip to pack this way. What a waste of time this is
@@julienneangelocarpo2229 ?? all you do is roll the clothes? I packed for 5 days in under an hour.
@@julienneangelocarpo2229 It took me 45 minutes to pack for 6 days
@@julienneangelocarpo2229 if you filling up a rucksack and a 10 day bag then you will appreciate videos like this
@@colei8752 lmao get good, took me half an hour to pack for 3 weeks
*starts folding my house inside out
In Part 2, he rolls up the rolled up clothes to save even more space.
bmo đ
I would pack socks as a pair instead of individually
use rubber bands
TJ a Rubiks Cuber you can fold the socks together inside of each other. You donât have to roll them individually let alone use rubber bands unless you want to have a bundle of sock pairs.
how do i fold my shoes
sSNIPERv12 The gamer thank you for understanding my needs. Someone really needs to do that next
You don't. But you can fill the shoes with folded underwear/shirts/socks etc.
DON'T fill your shoes with underwears
@@sayarisarkar why not?
Grace Harvey its a joke
another hack is to instead of using rubber bands use hair elastics so you don't have to bring a bag with hair elastics in it :)
and perhaps less or no wrinkles too ?? Just wondering it would be better than elastics?
i have tried both and tbh the wrinkling was about the same
That's if you're a girl.
boys can use hair bands! not all boys have short hair, and they may need it for other things that may not be for their hair.
Grace Harvey lol, okay.
We all have that chair, full of unfolded, clean+dirty cloths on.
When I travel I just take that chair and that's it, I save like 30 minutes đđ
Nah bro... just you.
@@zyanlamour407 LOL
I'll try to remember to do that on the way back when I have my shopping to fit in
I do roll but never fold garments at the bottom like you've demonstrated
Thanks :)
Thank you for creating and posting this video. It was a HUGE help to me. Was amazed at how much space this technique provided.
me: is trying to do this in an hour with like 30 lbs of clothes and panicking
Yet has time to comment...
haha true
why 30lbs of clothes tho?
Same
who da fuck still uses Ibs to measure weight in 2017?
Thanks for providing this service to your fellow human beings , your video and videos like it helped me to better pack my belongings for a big trip!
Wow that looks fantastic. Going on holiday this December for skiing and I definitely will try your method. Thanks đđ
Very good advice here in this video I learned these tricks in the army! Good stuff and makes packing way easier and less space needed.
i dont really travel alot but this method really helps me organize my closet
As a person who travels a lot for business, there's no way I'd fold clothes like that. It's space efficient, but it's way too time consuming - both the packing and the unpacking since you're going to have to iron everything. I just don't have time for it.
works fine for me
dumeril7 thatâs when those multi row hangers and suit bags come in handy.
This really helped!! I think I'll do this as an everyday routine because I think that it is such a cool way to fold cloths
This video saved me a lot of time and space although i didn't the fold the end of the garments and wrap it around the bundle, its still a brilliant, quick and easy method of packing bags. I actually cant believe how much space I still have in my suitcase.
This has been so helpful thank you. I even did your way with my skirts and dresses
Moving from Chicago to Hawaii, and this was super helpful! Had to rewind a few sections to pay more attention since it does go a little fast.
I already packed everything, saw this and repacked all. Did not regret it.
Works great!! No wrinkles with the elastic!! Thanks!!
you can make it even more compact by rolling a tshirt with a boxers and pair of socks into 1, boxers go on the tshirt you roll them up with the socks place on the top, when it's rolled up you can cover the rolled tshirt with your socks
Wow, that's a brilliant idea! An entire day's worth of undergarments in one roll :-)
Donât forget pants đ
Best folding on CZcams. Thanks man.. helped me a lot with my packing.
Excellent video, now I'm all packed and ready for my trip!
This is amazing! I'm gonna to try this for my travelling .
Still a great travel video! I've learned a lot on this tips and hacks! thank you so much! I just want to share that above all the hacks for my travel, the greatest tip and secret I for a great travel for me, is finding my Nomad Lane Bento bag that I have been using for quite some travels already. Such a great bag that makes my travel with so much ease and comfort because of its great features.

Soooo... how'd that trip work out for you, I wonder đ€? ... đ·
Comes in handy for the saddle bags.
A little tip, apply pressure on the roll as your pulling the fold over. Took me forever to figure that part out.
So satisfying!!!
I am about to travel. Thanks for the videođ
Great help. Going to a long trip an am now at ease thanks to this video.
Excellent demonstration! Thank you!
I remember first watching this in January, thank you for helping me learn to pack efficiently!
Gonna need to come back to this in a few days, finally get to go away again for the first time in years đ„°đ
Here I am again, second solo trip for the year.
Got myself a bigger bag so I can hold more stuff comfortably alongside my rolled stuff đ
It's me, ya boi back at it again
yeeee and then pass all the time ironing everything đ
I was told that rolling your clothes actually protects them from wrinkles........
well no for like 70% of the clothes. it depends on the material they are made with.
Berenice, đyup. I did this method and thatâs exactly what happened, it was a mess and the hotel didnât not have an iron (ended up having to steam the clothes in the bathroom).
Pack a mini steamer! Since you saved all that space (:
Jennifer Enriquez Ahahaha doesnât that defeat the purpose?
This man is the GOATđđż
All right. Screw packing cubes then. This just gave me the idea. Oh look! You can even fold your jewelry and travel bath products into it.
this is SO cool! packing for trip tmrw..thanks!

WOW. My Anxiety has subsided tremendously. It's not as depressing as before.Thank you so much.

LOL! I thought that was too cute
I was looking for a video on packing efficiency in chemistry but wasn't disappointed with this result
Too cute!âșïž
U saved my life !!! Thanks a tonn.
This is cool and thanks so much for putting all this work into a video to show us! For my own suitcase, I would tweak this just a little. I would bind paired socks together by stacking two in a pair together, then rolling like you did.
+Eowyn Eadig if you wear long socks and are packing long socks, just stack the socks and fold the top sock down an inch from the top... roll and tuck as you would one sock, but now you have two together! I'll send you a video if you need a visual. Happy Trails!
your puppy it's sooo cute!
Youâre the goat for this
thanks a lot, you've just saved my life :)

Thanks man. Really thanks
This video made me go and buy packing cubes. So much easier.
Thanks for this. Im packing for a camp right now and the usal way I pack makes me not even able to close the zipper halfway there was really no space beacause of the so many things we needed so this really Helped!
I didn't realise this wasn't how everyone packed. I grew up packing like this, even at school before we went on camps this was how it was taught. Hi from Australia. and I use hairbands as they don't rub on or ruin the fabric, or if it gets hot it won't leave a sticky mark.
great demo! Thanks you!!
That dog is chilling and learning
I like that dog
Not all heroes wear capes... thank you my friend
