I see it as basically all of his senses working in place of his lack of sight. Although I wonder how it would look if they used comic accurate radar sense. And apparently rain actually helps daredevil see, but this is mainly in the 2003 daredevil movie in the fight scene with kingpin (michael Clarke duncan) (rip) and the rain scene with Matt and elektra on a rooftop. The rain makes noise so he can basically see but it's like how they'd look with water droplets falling and bouncing around the human body. Though unfortunately, the effect was blue. Kinda prefer it being orange or red.
