Love this! How far before the event can/should I arrange the bud vases? Is 1.5 days too early?
Not at all! You can make your bud vases after you process your flowers. They can hang out and will continue to open since they won't be crowded.
After the build all your other designs then you can backfill your bud vases with the scraps.
Love the ideas. What is the greenery that you are using?
Gunni and Baby Eucalyptus, and I see some Italian Ruscus, Bulperium as well!
Is this made with the wildflower collection?
Yes, it's kinda a mix though. We typically do our shoots and then videos the next day with the leftover blooms so sometimes it's not a 'pure' collection. =)
What is your general height combinations of your bud vases (in cm or inch)?
I really like 3-5 inches and then I stagger in some candles. If you can only find one size of vase then just adjust the stem heights to create the variation.
Can you make Bud vases 3 days before your event?
Since the flowers are directly in water, you could make the bud vases a little bit ahead of time. To ensure that the flowers stay fresh and beautiful until the wedding day, make sure to keep them in a cool dark room, away from sunny windows and heating vents. Also, changing out the water in the vases will help too!
Where are the bud vases from>
These were from all over and collected through the years. You can usually thrift really nice glass bud vases for around $1, that's where most of mine come from!
