I miss the good ol' days where you would just pop the phone in half and just take off the battery and you were good
True
because of new EU laws they might come back in 2027
It was really easy and quick to do. About fifteen minutes. Helpful hint: I ordered a new back cover plate that had new adhesive strip, so would make easier and seal better. This kept me from using glue.
Thanks for your feedback
Where did you order it from?
I only ordered a new adhesive, the back cover is reusable.
I'm glad the battery replacement is this easy. I have Honor 9x and I had to take the rear cover AND the screen off to change the battery
Yep, kind of easy
Easy? They sealed it and glued it as much as possible to block customers from changing the battery easily.
This is anti-consumer, but they don't care because they know consumers will just buy a new phone instead.
Easy... 🤨
Excellent demonstration, concisely explained very professional, well this is how a you tube video should be done thanks
Thanks for your feedback
Thanks. You saved my GF's phone... and I guess my life along the way :D
Glad to hear that 🙏
What are those little compression tools you used in the end?
oh jesus, this is SIMPLE! amazing!
Thanks for your feedback...
Thanks man you made it look so simple
You're very welcome!
I use to have an s4 and the battery was easily accessible just with the removable back plastic. Miss those days.
Yep
Is there any phone better or as good as this one that you can change the battery easier? In and out like the old days.
I had a lot of trouble getting the battery cable to attach back to the phone. Also, the ribbon flex was impossible to re-attach.
How many celcius did you apply onto the battery with that heater to remove it?
Świetnie. Dziękuję za filmik !
Thanks
Hi Geardo. Can you please tell what is the difference between $11 and $27 battery that you have at your shop ?
Thank you for your tutorials ! Would it work, to replace the battery of the A52s by the one of the A53 please ?
I don't think it is compatible
Using a hot water bottle is a good way to heat up the adhesive
🙄
Hi,
Can I use B-7000 instead of the adhesive strips for battery?
Yes you can
How are you grabbing the small screws to put back in with one hand?
Magnetic screwdriver
Thx 😊 sir
Welcome 😊
Can back cover assembled fully as new??? And how much time should I tape my back to be fixed?
You can buy new, well about 1 hour is good
Hello friend, a question after having removed the cover of the phone and having glued it again, can I put my phone in the water?
Not a good idea.. because once you have opened , it is fragile against the water. Unless you go with the service center repairs..
@@DIYGeardo And if I use b7000 glue plus a tape that sticks the two sides and the super well applied b7000 glue could work, obviously I will take it to a cell phone repair technician to help me with that detail but I wanted to know

After replacing the battery and fixing the back cover with b7000 glue will my A52 phone still be water resistance?
Nope
Come on bro that battery was already lose when you acted like you was taking off the adhesive 😂
After replacing the battery and attaching the cover, is it still waterproof? I'm just confused. Coz I felt like my My phone's battery cover ( samsung A52s) is about to be detached. It seems like the glue gotten soft and not sticking as it was.
If you use the correct adhesive
Sir.. Is this a lithium-ion or lithium-polymer battery in a52??
Lithium ion
Does the phone remain waterproof afterwards if i replace it from an authorized store?
Nope
That's why I stick with phones that have easy back covers that come off.
Haha.. yep..
Where can you buy a battery that's reliable
No modern smartphones have a removable battery
Does a52 and a53 samsung battery? Has a same size? Is it possible to put a53 to a52?
it is different
Hey does anyone know here to get a 6000 mlp/h battery for this phone. I would like to upgrade the battery
there is no high capacity battery for this one..
can i upgrade the battery of a52 4500mah using a 5000mah battery of m52?
Two different battery connectors
you should have replaced the a52s battery with a a53 one, since they are the same size but 500mah more.
Thanks for your feedback
you already tried? because it could be a nice upgrade.
@endlessultra the only downside was the service store, they wouldn't do it. So I had to go to an independent mechanic. With a little bit of effort it was fitted.
It is confirmed that it fits??
@@tenorrgno the only problem is that the official samsung center won't do it. you have to do it yourself. the only problem was the headphone jack but with a little bit of effort you can make it fit.
Guys if you managed to crack the case open, limit your glue usage as much as possible. No glue for me, I only use scotch tape. I'm not a professional and always struggle to get most phone open and always crack the back especially if they're made of glass. God I hate glass backing. You'll sacrifice waterproof IP67 nonsense. Just keep them inside a big impact resistant case, you're all set. Remember, most aftermarket batteries sold are junks, you have no idea if they last 2 months or 2 years so expect for the worst so you can easily swap them out again.
Can i replace samsung M21 battery in samsung A52.
NO
Can I put battery from a53 to a52 5g ? It works?
If I am correct it is not compatible
i took off the black flappy thing on accident, is that bad...
can you timestamp it?
I replaced battery on my A52s but now phone suddently dies at around 40 50%, and when i plug it is 0%. Could be bad battery ?
Yes, most likely that is the issue. Try genuine battery
Is it possible to fit them with 5000 mah battery?
Are there any real ones?
The name of the Glue please
B7000/t7000
sad how they make the battery so hard to replace nowaday..... very sad!!! you know you need a new battery every 2 yr!
Yeah, but compare to some other models, these repair steps are not that bad
@@DIYGeardo I couldn't care less about ip67 rating. I always have my phone in a waterproof case. What I need is just the old screw held case. My last phone lg g5 was unfortunately no longer supported by tmobile network. Would've sticker to it still. The g5 had all the essentials like removable battery, microsd, I even replace the fingerprint reader myself
After 2years and 21400% of charge past my A52 still 4215mAh. Allmost never carge it over 85%
My cover not closing..the batter has swollen
Needs a new battery
I scared to add heat because I heard it might explode?
Well if you put very excessive heat.. It might, but to remove the back cover, you do not need to heat too much..
make sure the battery is drained first, very little energy left in it is better.
It went well but I got a new phone anyway a few months later
What glue did u use
B7000
Where can i get the battery? 🔋
Your location?
AliExpress
I have replaced port and battery but phone still not charging any ideas 😒
are you sure the charging port is fine? can you try another one. Let say the battery is bad, but still the charging indicator should work.
Why glue why 😢 before self system removable battery was too good ..
if i change the battery, will i lose my data?
No
The kind of technicians I despise. Using heat on a lithium battery. The wrong type of adhesive and the cheap kind at that. Guess it doesn't matter when it's a customers phone and not yours.
Would be still waterproof after that replacement
NO, unless you go for the service centre for the repair..
good question
subtitle please :)
Try cc, it should be there
Pretty that phone isn't designed to be open
True, need little patience..on the other hand, they don't want to open phones and fixed..
F*** that.... it's not worth it. These companies should just make phones with ez-2-remove batteries and cases, not all this glue and screw nonsense. NEXT!
True, but unfortunately this is how it is ..Probably fairphone
DO NOT USE ANY ANY ALCOHOL. YOU WILL RUIN YOUR TOUCHSCREEN.
Thanks for your tip
@@DIYGeardo yeah I just received a new frame and digitizer because of my amateur mistakes, wish I would have watched this before committing a very expensive mistake.. Had to buy a new phone from Amazon overnight.. I used a OTG & Mini keyboard/mouse w/ usb dongle just to access the phone and extract account information to transfer/back up encrypted sd card data
So yeah maybe avoid using alcohol and spending $600
I wipe my screen with spirit every week still nothing...
