It all started with an innovative idea that professional musician Christoph Baerwind and member of German Brass had. His idea was a practice mute that allows for almost silent rehearsals and can also be used as a mouthpiece mute. 👍

When used as a practice mute, the sound emitted by the trumpet is optimally reduced. The alternative use as a mouthpiece mute minimizes the sound when mouthpiece buzzing. In both cases, the noise pollution for your environment is extremely reduced and the special technology continues to provide excellent airflow. The double function gives you maximum flexibility in all exercise situations.

Whether it's a rehearsal or preparing for a big performance - success depends largely on your approach and the training of your lips.
Many practice units are essential for this - regardless of the spatial conditions. Often you won't have a soundproof practice room available and you'll either have to use a mute or concentrate on the buzzing.
The Vhizzper is a practice mute that reduces the volume of the sound excellently. The air resistance is pleasant for the musician and the air flow is also optimal. In contrast to the use of many other mutes, the intonation remains almost unchanged. If the mouthpiece is inserted directly into the mute, it also works excellently as a mouthpiece mute.
In order to ensure a perfect fit of the Vhizzper in different bells, one or more rings can be removed. With all 5 rings, the damper is designed for large bells. The smaller the cup, the fewer of the top rings are required and the more can be progressively further removed. The same applies to regulating the intonation. The deeper the Vhizzper sits in the bell, the higher the intonation.
