Corey was seen at Rogers place in Edmonton yesterday.
The "haters" are actually the "envious" who want everyone else to believe they, themselves, have never been drunk and tried to say something funny, which was wildly misunderstood and then blown completely out of proportion.
That's almost a cultural norm in Edmonton so...meh, happy to have him.
He wouldn't have had his contract voided without a peep from the union if it was "just a misunderstood joke"

So glad Cain is staying he had a good game against Flames lots of good chances so him and Perry will be good to have for playoffs both are playoff players and I hate people calling him a cancer com on think of something better instead of commenting on your mental state Cain is happy Edmonton fans love him has a beautiful family is involved with sick kids in Edmonton and he seems to have his life turned around but to call players that have had trouble that's not a word to use when there helping kids with cancer

A leader to Bedard or more of a father figure? Who cares, I'm an Oil fan so this is a great move.
Took me a number of years to get over my, well hate is too strong a word but dislike, of Perry. I started to soften on him while he was in Tampa. Sure some people are just going to dislike him because... but I think (hope) most people would admit that you hate him when your team is playing against him but would love him on your team. I for one hope he learns (and made amends) form whatever the real problem was so he doesn't do it again and wish him luck going forward.
Joe Thornton went to Toronto and he just looked slow. In Chicago he looked slower than molasses.
He moved pretty fast on the Hawks employee that he behaved inappropriately toward.
I cant help but think of all the Oilers fans clutching their pearls in self righteous indignation over the Hawks Kyle Beach incident who are now gleefully planning their cup celebrations.
Morality seems pretty flexible these days.
Hockey players are human too, and make mistakes like any of us, it’s how they regain their composure and move on like any professional in sports. there has been so many players with dark history and the game goes on. Perry will play his heart out for the Oilers and most likely make the team better. Let’s go Oilers 🏆
Good to get him this early, let him practice and get to know the boys, give him some minutes, see what happens, then you still have options before the deadline

He took a round out of Connor Bedard's mom ,slide in a nice goal! Supposedly that's not what got him booted off what got him in trouble is after a game the boys went out and a drunk Corey in front of the whole team started telling Conner all the details ,basically embarrassing Connor telling him I banged your mom , what are you going to do about .
