This was great, and honestly my heart hurt when Tamaki died. And how Izuku reacted to his death??? Oof. Also the fact that they really were out here calling Shimura/Athena Izuku's Divine Sugar Mommy was hilarious because they weren't... really wrong lmao.
Hyped for the Underworld Saga though, gonna be a heartbreaker right there.
Ever since Ocean Saga, people have been saying, "Can't wait to see Cyclops," "Can't wait to see how you do Survive," "Survive is my favorite!" so I knew I had to deliver. So, this video has had MONTHS of planning.
...and now I get to do the fun thing and take everything experimental I did in this video and refine it with Underworld.

@@whitenobeard to be completely honest, I don't know. When I initially made the video I had no clue who Mortius was. However, after a few people pointed it out, I went and checked and, in my history, was a short from Mortius with the little devine sugar momma animatic thing. So, I think one night while browsing YT Shorts I must've stumbled upon it while browsing and just completely forgot.
Which kinda sucks. I always try to imagine what the characters would say in certain situations, and I was really happy with the joke, but now it's just like... "Oh... I didn't think of it. I just faintly remembered from a light night of scrolling." Big Sad.
anyway, TL:DR: it wasn't meant to be a reference, but I also didn't fully come up with it on my own.
@@LemonStories honestly that's fair, although I do absolutely recommend watching Mortius' reactions to Epic because he has some interesting insight and he's pretty funny.

Honestly, if the series was still as light hearted and not as serious as it was when I began (Ocean Saga) then I’d prob do this joke. But, sadly, as funny as it would be, it kinda defeats the serious tone we’ve established.

Me and a friend were at the livestream, and omfg, I could take about the Thunder Saga for hrs on end.
But to spare people the boredom, all I will say is this, it’s easily my second favorite saga right behind Underworld

I have a question who all died? Because it is not clear i was just wondering.
Tamaki, Mineta, Jiro, Tokoyami, and Sato died during the Cyclops Battle. This is shown during “My Goodbye” where, in at least this version of the story, the dead crew, temporarily, reveal themselves to Izuku.
Kota is also present during that moment, because, well, his death started this change in Izuku back in “Just A Man.”
As previously stated, all those who died during the Cyclops Battle are shown during the final portion of “My Goodbye” with the addition of Kota, to easily showcase who died.
This means, out of the handful of crew who went in with Izuku, only Kirishima, Denki, Sero, Shinso, and Todoroki lived.
Are you stopping after act 1, or are you also doing act 2?

I see a lot of similarities between this and what the Reactor Mortius said in his videos. Were parts of this inspired by him, or is it a coincidence?
I don't tend to watch reaction content, so if there are similarities then they're coincidences. That being said, it's always possible I watched a short or TikTok video and I'm just forgetting. idk though.
