The 3-episode documentary is about China's poverty alleviation. It is the first documentary presented by ASEAN mainstream media that gives an interpretation of China's targeted poverty alleviation policy. From planning and shooting to broadcasting, the four media organizations of Guangxi Radio and Television, Lao National Television, National Television of Cambodia and National Broadcasting Services of Thailand have worked together to complete the project in one and a half years. It provides the external perspectives of observing and interpreting China's poverty alleviation plan.
Reporters from Laos, Cambodia and Thailand made their trip to the remote villages to witness frontline poverty alleviation work and interviewed the people lifted out of poverty and the leaders of poverty alleviation.

Very heartening to see more Asian journalists are interested to see and learn about poverty alleviation in China what can be take home to help their own community. I hope more journalists can be interested in this and make poverty alleviation more widespread even in Africa and South America countries. The world needs more of this great effort to help the population.

i hope Thailand, Laos, and Cambodia do poverty alleviation too! i think vietnam is already doing it?
the enterpreneur said that lifting poeple out of poverty can be done by bringing in big enterprises but that only works if one is living in a country in which the workers control the state. i know that china, vietnam, and loas already worker's states but are thailand and cambodia in such a position?

I have long watched CGTN in Thailand, especially high-quality documentaries and daily news. I noticed that CGTN has less than 1% of Asian guests. Most are white caucasian from the US and the EU. CGTN should invite more Asian people and Black Africans to participate in a good program like this. Not only open to the westerners but also educating the Asian white-washed to understand China.
Thailand also has a similar environment for bird watching. However, the government and Thai politicians are different from the Chinese. Thai politicians interest more in corruption and linked to Corporation's Plutocracy. They overlook the Thai people's poverty. Only lip service and corruption that what the politicians are good at. Without government investment in building roads and facilities, people have no capital and support. Thai corporations are the same as the US. Thailand is backward, corrupt, and lies.
Only a good leader with a good heart and smartness can do it. Thailand has an advantage in location, weather, and low cost, but no hero ever appears. Thai culture is one day at a time, with low discipline, and difficulty working as a group. The Chinese immigrant during WWII to Thailand, today, most are wealthy and built Thailand in front of ASEAN. However, Thai politicians are the US lap dogs, white-wash and stupid mentality. A long way to go, but it is not too late.

Try to check if it's true, British people got the birds watching hobby thanks Queen Elizabeth, now that she passed away. ..this is why so important to keep her memory alive and carry on her spirit, having fun for such harmless hobbies and enjoying Mother Earth's never ending beauties, l would suggest you pull out the famous Asiatic wisdom and explorers curiosity and go further on, recording birds in order to discover their language, who knows if we could ever have a . ..decent chit chat with animals on this planet, these perfect aliens so close to us, get in action friends. I do not agree we should turn back live like animals if we are humans, our planet needs our brain power, technology skills and tools to fix her climate change problems. . because animals can not do it. Dying of natural disasters is.. ridiculous, can you realize it? Yeah, the dream of my life as well, walking free to travel abroad and admire such spectacular locations, watching such videos. . I am eating my nails of envy...you can bet on it. Take good care of Thailand beauties Ok? I am the biggest supporter of yours
