The 2021 Mercedes-Benz G-Class G550 SUV from Mercedes-Benz is that it's now more customizable than ever. That's because the company's G manufaktur program now has 34 exterior colors and 54 interior upholsteries. More 2021 G550 SUV updates include a standard 12.3-inch fully digital gauge cluster and fresh options, such as new 20-inch wheels and an appearance package called Night Package Magno. The G-Class has exclusive Interior package that adds the nicer nappa leather upholstery and snazzier trim pieces. The Seat Comfort package includes massaging front seats with ventilated cushions, and the available adaptive dampers allow adjustable ride quality as well as the heated steering wheel. Engine, Transmission, and Performance for the Mercedes G 550 SUV from MBUSA includes a twin-turbo V-8 that makes 416 horsepower and 450 lb-ft of torque, the G550 is as quick on the street as it is capable on the trail. Those who want an even faster and more powerful G-wagon can opt for the AMG G63, in the video above, that makes 577 horses and 627 lb-ft but costs almost $25,000 more to start. All-wheel drive is standard on the G550, and its engine shuttles power through an obedient 9-speed automatic transmission. The G550 steering is precise and the ride quality is composed on all but the choppiest surfaces. Mercedes also equips each G-Class with three locking differentials and a low-range gear, which means it can tackle just about any terrain. That along with generous ground clearance and a maximum towing capacity of 7000 pounds make it a useful tool when it's not shuttling socialites.
Now the 2021 AMG G63 G-Wagon receives a wireless smartphone charging pad as standard equipment for 2021 and sees an expansion to the G manufaktur customization service that can provide an even deeper level of personalization as well as a new AMG Night package which adds black exterior trim pieces, and a new spare tire cover in Night Black Magno. Although the 2021 G63 starts around $160,000, most vehicles go for considerably higher than that due to its customization options. The standard equipment list is quite livable as the 2021 AMG G63 comes with 20-inch wheels, adaptive suspension damping, a front brush guard, leather upholstery, heated front and rear seats, and three-zone climate control. The Engine, Transmission, and Performance of the 2021 Mercedes-AMG G63 comes with a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V-8 engine that makes 577 horsepower and 627 lb-ft of torque. A nine-speed automatic gearbox with steering-wheel-mounted paddle shifters sends all that power to the all-wheel-drive system (4MATIC). Low-range gearing (2.93:1 reduction) is standard as are three locking differentials. Properly equipped, the G63 can tow up to 6500 pounds.

Got G550 for my wife at $175K there was a only one in the showroom in San Jose CA. Later on; found G63 is $280K.

I guess you missed the BIGGER REASON WHY ITS HIGH DEMAND. It’s tax deduction. According to section 179. The vehicle is over 6000lb can be tax free in same years as they file tax. Let’s be honest that’s the only reason rich people buy it. Not because it’s how fantastic the vehicle is. It’s US government push rich people to get around the tax problem. I owned one. 😨😨😨 but I’m drive Camry most of time.
That's not the only reason. There are many other vehicles that qualify under section 179 including Range Rover, Cadillac, Tesla Model X, Audi Q7 and Q8, Rolls Royce Cullinan, BMW X5 and X7, Mercedes Benz GLE, and hundreds of other SUVs. The list goes on and on. People love the G wagons because they are awesome SUVs. I just got one today and am super excited.

Well there is no such thing as G500 neither 2022. 2021 last year.
@@E39Davey The US specific version is G550. Mine is G500 the international version bcoz I'm not in the US. And my 2022 G500 will start production in May 2022. I have the purchase order and everything from Mercedes I can show it to you.

MB just release an email. They are now going to make the G550 and G63 in 2022. I just received my G63 in Feb 2022 and it’s a 2021. But yes the are making them again in 2022 and will be a 2022 model.
