Their version of “Hillbilly Bone” is definitely one where I almost forget THERE ARE NO INSTRUMENTS!!! It boggles my mind that it’s all vocal!
The Oak Boys actually contacted Home Free to do this song. They have done more since then.
Kenny Rogers recommended them to the Oakridge Boys.
I love how Richard is "hey whippersnapper I can still hit the low note." Then Tim is like..."hold my drink." Per Chris Rupp...Tim actually did the arrangement of this version.
The Oak Ridge Boys and Home Free actually did a whole concert together a couple of years ago. They really like Home Free and what they do and are very supportive.
I love that a band as awesome as home free still gets star struck by our older bands.
Yay!! Hillbilly Bone one of my favs, just so fun. At the live shows the crowd stands up and goes nuts, stomping along and clapping with them, singing too! Awesome. And Elivra from my day and with the great Oaks! They all do it more than justice for the great classic. Another the crowd love at live shows. You sure picked to of the great ones!! Many more!! Try the one at Austin's family home, Good Ol' Boy Good Time. Super fun time they're all having again. One Tim Foust wrote, Champagne Taste on a Beer Budget they're pretty funny (as always!). Take care.
Seeing these again made my night!!! 😊 Thank you! 😂😂😂👏👏👏👏👏! No favs ... love them all!
Did you forget there's no band? It's so easy to do with these guys. Adam is phenomenal!!!!
The Oaks actually have shown up at the Grand Ol' Opry and sang with Home Free several times. They've also shared the stage in a Oaks concert. And Home Free had them perform with them on their Christmas Special just this last Christmas. They've also done collaborations with Kenny Rogers, and Alabama. There's video of all of those on YT.
Home Free has a way of taking a song you already like and making it one that you absolutely love! My favorites change depending on the day and my mood. All About That Bass,Sold, and the Butts remix are funny. Helplessly Hoping, In the Blood, Seven Bridges Road, The End of the Road are good ones. Kenny Rogers did a collaboration with them called Children Go Where I Send Thee, How Great Thou Art, My Church, Go Rest High on That Mountain. The Home Free rabbit hole is deep and diverse, there truly isn't a bad song by them. You might want to consider some of their originals too! Great reaction! New Subscriber! ❤
One of my all time favorite HF covers that not many people react to is Life Is A Highway! It's so good
Blake Shelton and Trace Adkins, both gave them a shout out on Hillbilly Bone. Love when that happens, and of course, The Oaks are HF's mentors, practically. The fandom goes both ways between the 2 groups.
Favorite? That's a hard one. Every time they release one, becomes my new fav! 😉 But... Fishin' In The Dark/Boondocks (fun), Flowers On The Wall (fun), I Can't Outrun You (tear jerker but excellent), On The Road Again (very chill), and many of their originals like Dreamer (bluesy and smooth), Dive Bar Saints (just cool and laid back), and Good Ol' Boy Good Time (fun). All choices are country. Another great reaction! Thx!
If you love seeing Home Free chill and have a good time, Good Ol' Boy Good Time definitely qualifies.
For another tearjerker, look at their rendition of Travelling Soldier. The two primary actors are actually veterans. As for a favourite, where to start?! Try American Pie, featuring Don McLean, the guy who wrote the song in the first place.
Hillbilly Bone is one of the best Home Free covers. You just can't help but move.
Absolutely love your reactions! Home Free are the best.
These are two of my absolute favorite covers they’ve done!!! Great reactions as always!! I would love to see you do a reaction to their covers of Helplessly Hoping, Take Me Home Country Roads, Moonshine, Blue Ain’t Your Color, In the Blood, The Butts remix and Country Fried Pop Melody!! I can’t wait for more!!! 😁😁😁
I loved the double feature, thank you for another great reaction. If you go back and watch Meet In The Middle again - you'll see that shirt that Austin gets signed in a frame at his house. I'm one of those people who didn't really know country music until I started following Home Free - I'm British, so I didn't grow up with it as you and these guys did, but they've introduced me to so many great songs and artists. The Oak Ridge Boys have been friends and mentors to the Home Free guys since they first recorded this back in 2015 - only this week Joe Bonsall shared a link to the new song Home Free are releasing on Friday, with their friend country singer/songwriter Jeffrey East. It's called People, and it's got a lovely message to share.
Hillbilly bone! That's a playlist song for me also brother!!!! Just AWESOME!!!
The Oaks became friends & mentors to Hone Free!! Check out Good Ole Boys Good Time & Good Old Country Harmony! Favorite is”How Great Thou Art”!! Keep up the the great reactions!!
These are two mlm of my favorite videos. Your reaction was absolutely on point.
There are live, audience -taken, videos of both of these songs that are real bangers! Thank you for playing them - I always enjoy your channel, your comments and most of all your energy and reactions. Thank you for being you!
That opening of Elvira reminded me of their cover of Seven Bridges Road! Watch it, you'll love it!
Love the double header videos....great reaction! My all-time favorite would be the video that got me hooked on HF....My Church!
Dude, love your smile, makes me smile as well. Thanks.😎😎😎😎
Thanks Raynie! Much love ;)
The Bass singer for Oak Ridge sang backup for Elvis!
We need to get you to watch Home Free's *THE BUTTS REMIX/MEDLEY* you're gonna love it...has country, hip-hop, and is HILARIOUS !!!
TIM FAUST. THE LEAD AND USUALLY THE BASS, HAS A 5 OCTAVE RANGE! HE IS SSPECTACULAR. THEY ALL ARE FSNTASTIC!
Your grandpa was there watching it with you, I saw it towards the end when that huge smile came across your face. Loved it ❤️.😎😎😎😎
Yup! and The Bass singer of the Oak Ridge boys, Richard Sterban, started out his career in the Jordanaires; They were the Primary back up group that Sang with Elvis Presley!!!
My favorite is usually the last video that came out... so that usually lasts a couple of weeks until the next video drops, then I have a new favorite. 😉
Kenny Rogers and Home Free with Children go where i send thee, Home Free cover The Gambler, Johnny Cash Folsom prison blues.. anything and all are fantastic!
We love our Home Free. Blue Ain't Your Color is one of my favorites.
A recommendation, home free "go rest high upon the mountain" video. Please watch the whole video. Love your reactions God bless!
My favorite is a tie between I Can't Outrun You and Cover Me Up. Great reaction! I'm glad I came across your channel.
These are great songs. Home Free has collaborated with the Oaks on a Christmas song Star of Bethlehem too. They have collaborated with Kenny Rogers, Alabama and Lee Greenwood too. Tim, the bass, is from SW Texas, Austin, the high tenor with reddish hair is from GA, Chance (newest member who acted as the northern boy in Hillbilly Bone) is from Alabama and Rob (beard and glasses) and Adam the beatboxer are from Minnesota. They are all so talented. Chris (Adam’s brother) is in the videos prior to 2016. He was wearing the ball cap in Elvira. He left the group to go solo. He was replaced by Chance. They are talented and fun. They have a lot of songs. Try Country Roads, Thank God I’m a Country Boy, Some Girls Do. Enjoy and have a great weekend!
These songs and your great reactions just made me smile! (can't believe I missed this when you uploaded it!!)
Thanks for this reaction it was Great. I’m a huge Home Free Fan…so you have won me over I’m now a Subscriber ✨💫
Great reaction - really enjoy your Home Free reactions. Keep going, please.
Loving this song. Sounds fantastic!! Very upbeat!!!! Love it. These guys are just that good.
You should also checkout Home Free ft. The Oak Ridge Boys & Jeffrey East singing "Beautiful Star of Bethlehem"!!!! It's So Beautiful!!!! I Love Both Groups!!!! I Grew up hearing The Oak Ridge Boys!!!! They also sang "God Bless the U. S. A." with Lee Greenwood and The United States Air Force Band!!!!
Big kudos to Adam. Did you hear him? The man is a beast. Loved your reaction and I love Home Free. P.S. I bet your grandpa was watching!
Fave's: If you are willing to explore beyond their Country hits, you'll find the harmonies in "Helplessly Hoping" and "Auld Lang Syne" beyond belief. Also a big fan of Seven Bridges Road, Cover Me Up, and When a Man Loves a Woman; and especially Woman/Female.
Hillbilly Bone is my ringtone. If you ever get a chance to see them live, you will see that they are a lot of fun all the time. I've seen them twice now and waiting on my rescheduled concert in September. They don't come to Canada as much as all of the different places in the states.
They also did Beautiful Star of Bethlehem with the Oak Ridge Boys and Jeffrey East around Christmas time!
It was amazing!
Greetings from your danish fry / sub , after the release of Hillbilly Bone, Blake posted on his FB that he loved what Home Free had done with it
You gotta find and watch “Songs That Didnt Make The Cut.” Its a live stage performance by these guys...also, “Butts Medley” “Folsom Prison Blues”
just wait a minute and I'll write down my absolute favourite.....nahhh... could never pare it down. But a few of my favourites are walking this land, how great thou art, go rest high on that mountain, california country (great summer vibes), meet in the middle, helplessly hoping, in the blood.....
REact to In The Blood. It is very touching and speaks to many families facing troubles and indecision. I think you'll enjoy it.
Still 2 of my favorites ❤
Two of my favorite videos in one! Thanks for the great reaction.
This is a great duo oh music! Good choices, not that you could go wrong with HF!
2 of my favorites of them just having fun with family, friends and crew are Summer in the Country and Good Ol Boy Good Times (both are originals)
Everybody goes on and on about PTX and Voiceplay but these guys have had soooo many stars ask them to sing with them like The Oak Ridge Boys, Alabama, Kenny Rogers, Don McClean just to name a few. I don't see them asking other groups.
Elvira - better than ever !
For a real eye-opener, watch the video of Rob Lundquist and Austin Brown "Two country singers try singing opera" - mind-blowing.
THX for sharing this!! Cool to watch you singin' along. I grew up to Elvira as well, a young tween I was when Elvira came out & Mom LOVED it. Still gets me singin' whenever I hear it, & about the only song I'm comfortable beltin' out anywhere I am (vs. Just the shower where most of my performances take place! 😉) ❤
Love Home Free!! Love your reactions!!❤
They collaborated with Kenny Rogers and covered Children Go Where I Send Thee. It's AMAZING!!
Not a country music fan but Hillbilly Bone...hilarious. And a lot of the females were wives and girlfriends. And never missed any instruments.
Homefree has done some songs with The Oakridge boys and Alabama. Its awesome for them to do some Acapella music with some of the greats of country music!
I love your joy in this. Also, it was arranged by Geoff Castelucci from Voiceplay
These are two of my favorites to watch and listen to. I'm so glad you reacted to them. Great reaction as always.
Great reaction . Thank you for doing two great ones of Home Free
Listen to Home Free In The Blood. Wow.
This is really good
My favorites are, catch me if you can, women amen Female, Folsom prison blues, cover me up, and the butts remix and many more. Too many to chose from 😆
I can't give you a favorite.
I own every cd they have & love every song.
Geoff Castellucci of Voice Play did the arrangement for this.
These two vids are So Much Fun!!! So glad you picked these two to react to.
This was awesome
It takes the words home free to make my Play list..... typical home fry....
Your grandpa was with you. Favorites would be Go Rest High On the Mountain and 7 Bridges Road
Your smile says Grandpa raised you right ✅
The boys really love to have fun! And they are amazing at everything they do! Austin framed the t-shirt the Oaks signed and has it on display at his house.
As far as favorites, there are way too many to list. Go ahead and browse thru their vids, and pick the ones with more views??? You can't go wrong with them! Right now, 'Country Fried Pop Medley', 'Honey I'm Good' and 'Down to the Honkytonk' come to mind.
Great reaction!
A country party and country pyrotechnics. Great combo.
Both songs- amazing 🤩
They di an original song, its called SNOW GLOBE thats one of my favorites, but i have many lol
I love, love Snow Globe 😊 I have many favorites, but Do You Heat What I Hear is at the top of the list not only because the arrangement is awesome and they do an amazing job singing, but the backdrop of the ice castle is just sooo beautiful and ingenious 💙
favorite HF covers is Love Train and Sold and HF originals Catch Me If You Can
It's so hard to a favorite but How Great Thou Art is at the top of the list. I listen to it first thing every morning. Then I listen to Love Train LOL
have tickets for october, can't wait!! juat for fun check out "tim Foust's Vibration" on youtube, he shakes the camera!
Your reactions are really really REALLY great, man. Keep it up.
Glad you like them!
Probably my favorite hf reaction channel
You picked two of my very favorites! Nice.. this was such a toe tapping inspiring, uptempo reaction.. Loved it! All time favorite?? impossible to say... Auld Lang Syne Do You Hear What I Hear... Butts remix... House Party.. omg.. the list is endless.. Thanks for all you do! ( Ck out Kenny Rogers and HF Children Go Where I Send Thee.. )
They are SO good, allways smile when I listen to them :D
Both numbers are fantastic live - they REALLY make the party swing!
That one of the things I love about Home free. They are down-to-earth, big-hearted guys. It's strange but I feel more that we friends than that I am a fan of a successful band. And I have not even met them. Oh... that sounds a bit creepy 😂😂
You need to see them live!
Binge-watching here, just tryin' to get caught up!!! :) Somehow, yer channel hadn't came up in recommendations --- it's Home Free; I just don't know why not! I absolutely love it! I'll have a few to mention later -- but I need to get caught up!
My fav is helplessly Hoping but the spoiler song you did not listen to is Honey I'm Good if you do this one try to find a fan shot live version of it
Peter Hollens feat. Tim Foust - Misty Mountains and Greensleeves. They will blow you away!
Home Free warned the Oaks about Adam being a "spitter" while doing his beat boxing. If you'll notice none of the Oaks are standing in the line of fire LOL
They cover the BTS of Hillbilly Bone in episode 16 of their From the Vault series. Those videos are always fun to watch.
I scrolled through all the home free ones and didn't see the Butts Remix, please react to it so I can see you crack up laughing.
The thing about home free is yes they sing songs by other artists but they always try to keep it like the original
Good Old Boy Good Time is a great original
I suggest you listen to "Blue Ain't Your Color" by Home Free!
Loved ypur reaction
How Great Thou Art video!
I love their version better than the original. Their video makes more sense too.
I can't choose a Fave as love 'bout Evzerything I've heard them do. I'd LOVE to hear them cover Eddie Rabbitt's "Love A Rainy Night" or "Drivin' My Life Away". Could be a **Whole Lotta Fun** 😆 with some interesting parts!
Check out Folsom Prison Blues...
Suggest: "Ring of Fire" cover by Home Free with Avi from Pentanonix !
