@@Hoss58 I don't when there stuff like Traxxas and arrma do. Take the same chassis add a few kinks to it slap a different body on itand call it something else. That's not a new release. That's the old model with a different body. I can do that and save my self the money lol

Shocks are adjustable my guy. And move the front body mounts up 2 holes and do like 4 to 6 turns on rear shock adjustment to keep body from scraping. Put the high speed gear in it and the smaller rear wing and rip it! You will love the speed and ride trust me.

Great how Armma actually post real out of the box speed numbers . Something Traxxas needs to be more realistic on . Their cars hit box speed after several more expensive upgrades.

Just got my Blue Vendetta out in Anaheim CA.at Gear Box,haven't ran it yet but looking forward to it,currently own an Infraction 6s,Vorteks 3s,Typhon and Talion 6s.
Nice run. Would like to see the cornering with avc turned off, might help to reduce the understeer.
The body cut outs are to let air escape on high speedruns so the car wont go airborne..

I’m kinda hoping that Arrma will make a designated No-Prep dragster to compete in the very popular RC drag race scene…… we’ll see if that happens……

Another CZcamsr put the high speed gear and speed wing on it and got it up to 73 with no other modifications.
I like the look of this new car. Wonder if they will come out with a clear body to paint? I would definitely paint it like the Ford GTs that won Le Mans a few years ago 👍

It’s just the cheap servo. I found it too be too slow on the vendetta when I drive it. But it’s a solid car for sure. Better than the new infraction

I don’t understand why I was excited about this car honestly. I am not trolling. I am just saying there’s a lot of cars out of the box with a different opinion can hit 60 70 80 mph. This is definitely a cool car don’t get me wrong and I am definitely in the high speed run cars having two of them myself. So I’m not sure is the market for the beginner speed runner, or is it meant to really be modified it’s kind of lost on me.
This is not a speed run car. This is a Parking lot Basher.
Seems much wiser to just buy the Typhon 6s or TLR, far better quality and more versatile for just a little more money.
@@FreakMeat74 don’t disagree there but this comes out of the box ready for the street. Typhon needs to be modified.
The Vendetta also used 14mm hex and smaller tires
@@roberttruesdell6151 Now that I'm thinking about it it's really just an upgraded 3s line, plastic driveshafts and chassis etc. It costs a bit too much imo but hell compared to whatever Traxxas equivalent it's still better value I'm sure.

Mark - Any chance you will be getting the TLR T Typhon? I know you are a Tekno guy on the track, but I have not seen any 'serious' racer put the TLRTT on the track for a weekend or two. Thanks for all the great content! Love your RV videos too. :)

Hey Mark, any thoughts on doing a DR28 vs. Mini-Z [on-road] race? - I know, off subject. :) I do also hope to the Vendetta having more on-road upgrades like Carbon etc. items in the future.
Like 4tec2/3 needs. 90k front diff and 30k rear diff fluids to understeer similarly proper. (More like not oversteer stupidly)

My shop shot a demo vid with the vendetta and got some scratches on the bottom only so they discounted it for 349.00 is that to good to pass on in your opinion.
Need to find a smoother place to do those speed runs...the rear kept popping up from those rough concrete seems...i'm sure that didn't help the top speed...
Damn guess I gotta make room in the stables :) looking forward to more videos of this one for sure!

And yes I know it would do closer to 70 with high speed but the Maxx does 65-70 as well with high speed! Haha I know it obviously can corner and probably drift unlike the Maxx but when it comes to high speed not very impressed

This makes me think about my infraction. I want a car body rather than a truck body. I'm not a painter so I would have to have it painted to buy a body online that's clear it's like over $100. Then you would have to hire somebody that would cost probably another $100. I've seen them on Facebook for like 250 with a custom paint job. Makes me want to sell my s*** and get out of the hobby.
Painting does not much effort. Especially if you go with one color. It if you want designs and whatnot that makes it harder. It’s just spray paint. Shake it up really good and spray. Delta Plastiks make some. Bought a Jaguar from them.

That’s not true, the cutouts are there for aerodynamic benefit as they relieve pressure that builds up in the wheel arches during high speed runs.
I know this because I designed the body.
@@bagofdickweed_rc there are a lot of factors that came into play designing the body and it was largely a function over form approach. It’s based on an LMP style so it’s understandably polarising. We keep trying to push for the best so I’m sorry for not meeting your expectations on this occasion. Rest assured that we’re always trying to push to provide exciting and unique products.
@@bagofdickweed_rc I appreciate the criticism but rest assured the cutouts on the top were something we decided upon early in the design process. We actually found that placing cutout vents behind the front arches increased drag and therefore reduced aerodynamic efficiency and top speed. The cutouts on the tops are actually raised ever so slightly so the exposed edges of the body have no chance of catching onto the tyres at speed. Open rear bodies and cutout wheel arch tops are common place in LMP racing.
As for the rear diffuser element, that is purely stylistic and echoes the approach that we took with the FELONY.
@@HijazDesign I personally like this body a lot more than Arrma's previous on road cars. If there was a Touring GT3 style body I would grab it for sure. I might grab the green one anyway.

We are hoping to have aftermarket support for this platform in the coming months so that should give customers plenty of options to tailor to their own requirements. It’s impossible for me to design one body that will appeal to everyone, but at the same time at ARRMA we like to mix it up and present the market with unique and different takes on design to reach as many people as we can.
