I had NO idea he had ulcerative colitis.. as someone who also suffers with this it means so much he openly talks about it! I wish him all the best for Eurovision he’s my #1 💚💚
He did explain fully in an interview. Had anal & stool issues when he was 8 or 10 years old, got a diet, symptoms disappeared. then turned 18, drank a lot and abandoned his diet, which led to upsurge in symptoms again, this time spread to his entire colon, had to get surgery and got a stoma for 5 months (that's his big scar). So now he is trying
to stick to his diet. He does love glögg. 🍷
He said he cannot eat spicy foods. 🌶❌️

Same here! Just watched this for the first time, and considering how unknown ulcerative colitis is (I always say I have a 'form of Crohn's disease' so that people understand it) it means a lot he's fighting for awareness. This shit has ruined my life in many ways but I won't give up. ❤
@@havshkamusic2733 I have Crohn’s and i thought they were both equally well known. That’s wild! I’m so happy and so proud of him for spreading awareness, i felt so alone and so scared when i first got diagnosed, i wish i had someone like him to look up to back then.

I feel Loreen and Käärijä are the polar opposites, when it comes to their performances (possibly also their personalities, as well).
Like, Loreen is distant, elegant, mysterious, and almost divine, and Käärijä is like an open book, easily approachable, and doesn't take himself too seriously.
I fully expect Loreen to win (because LBR, she's Loreen), but Käärijä & Norway's Alessandra will make her work for it. :D

@@petja4298 No one is trying to put it down, but just cut it's massive budget of 600€ million. That's an insane amount of money for a public broadcaster in a country of 5,5 million people, especially in this economy. it is 600 million euros out of the purchasing power of Finns. if we cut eg. 150 million, it's 150 million more money for the market. Yle also hampers commercial channels' business due to its huge size.
@@arthurmezacasa1021 Nelonen and MTV, two of Finland’s biggest commercial channels produce a ton of entertainment. It's not the public broadcaster's job.

How do Finns talk this fast without dots and commas? I had a hard time reading all the subtitles while he was talking like he is chased by something!

I had to watch again to see if I could understand your perspective, but just found him to actually speak Finnish with more pauses than most. One feature that allows Finnish language to be spoken rapidly without confusing words is that every word always has its first syllable emphasized. This way you always know when the new word is beginning and there is no need for any pause in between.
