David Haye admits he failed to back up his big pre-fight boasts after surrendering his WBA heavyweight title to Wladimir Klitschko in Hamburg on Saturday. www.skynews.com
Broke his hand and then continued with the fight and won LMAO I would like to know about this fight. He is an embarrassment to British Boxing and an arrogant up jumped boxer. True he didn't get knocked down but he fell down enough times. Just my opinion though.
Joe Calzaghe won a fight that way. Broke his left and and had to fight with own hand for the whole fight, and he dominated. I don't know about this Haye fight he is taking about though.
kassop boxing I agree upon but the others are debatable. I never once said anything about him being better than me or visa versa. I merely voiced my opinion nothing more. Like everyone in the world I am a somebody. No body is nothing in the world. Stay happy and humble :)
But even that won't be the same how ever my need for food, water and oxygen will be the same as him. Humans have a lot more in common with each other than most people think. Peace. Have a awesome day :)
I do not understand this argument. Haye circled (effectively) and danced the entire fight. His cardio looked good. If he is that mobile during the fight how can he honestly piss and moan about the injury later?
As an athlete, i have broken my little toe before, depending on the break it can hurt like hell. I could barely walk for a week and took 5 weeks to feel somewhat normal. People have to remember Haye pulled out of the first Klitchko fight with an injury. To do it twice would have made him out to be a coward. Would it have been worse than the image of him now? i don't know. But i think he got beat by the better boxer. But to the trolls out there, enter the ring. Then you'll respect these two more
Alright Haye knows he was outclassed but you have to remember haye's natural weight is cruiser, alot lighter than klitchko, so atleast he had the bollox to give it a go. The only reason he went up a weight was because he ruled the whole cruiserwight scene.
To not be able to admit that he was destroyed by a much better boxer, shows just how bad of a sportsman and boxer he is. Karma hit him hard and deservedly. I know he’s said that Klitschko was better than him, but throwing in the broken toe is embarrassing
@EsaulRuss Although I'm a Haye supporter but I agree with you. At a football(soccer) trial I continued and played great although I damaged my ankle on the day which means Haye could have probably ignored his toe injury.
i have been a boxing fan for 50 years and i have never felt such disgust for a fighter before all the carrying on by this haye thiing i cannoot bring myself to calling it a man .this thing masquerading as a boxer earned ten million pounds for fighthing with his mouth when one of the best fighters of all time ricardo lopez earned less than two milliion dollars for over 30 title fights and over 80 fiights undefeated 'it makes me sick . this frauds purse should be givento charity.
I wanna see a rematch. I watched the fight again and i was a actually a lot closer than I thought the first time I saw it live. Haye got his tactics wrong, but if he landed his signature, could have been different. He looked good at Upton Park as well.
as someone who does sports science at university, let me inform you if a fighter goes into a fight with a broken jaw and takes a massive punch it can leave them with some serious injuries, there is no way in hell someone has gone into a fight with a broken jaw, maybe they would have broken their jaw during the fight but as far as going into a fight with a cleanly broken jaw would not get past the board of control or the medic, not a chance
@1984catlow and benn fought gerrald with a dislocated shoulder, i agree if the hunger is there you will fight through the pain, i think mentally haye knew he would lose the fight before it even began..
I believe you Haye. I remmember watching this fight with alot of ppl at my friends house. We all wanted and knew Haye could do so much more then he did. It is what it is though. I still support and respect Haye though.
Courage, words and balls have to be backed by action. People have to know their limit and be prepared to swallow their pride. This man doesn't know that he was above his limit.
The truth is most British fighters don't win WBC/WBA/IBF titles. If they do win a title then they tend not to hold them for long eg Bruno, Stracey, McGuigan, Buchanan, Minter OR they don't unify or avoid fighting the very best men in the world eg Watt. Hamed. I respect David Haye for unifying his division and fighting the very best men in the world. Thats why I would rate him highly amongst all time British fighters. A points decision loss to the reigning World Champion is no disgrace...
@okeken If that is the case he (or his staff) must have made a shocking decision to carry on with the fight. How was he supposed to produce any punching power? Also how was he supposed to move properly? I don't know if its a proper excuse. He should have just copped it on the chin as a loss and carried on with his career.
It wasn't tysons trash talk that got him noticed, it was his explosive speed and power, he knocked out his first 19 opponents, 13 in the first round, all in the space of his first 14 months as a pro.
The reason why he even mentioned the toe was to use it as an excuse. If he REALLY wanted to give Wlad full credit for the win he wouldn't have mentioned the toe at all. He gave Wlad credit but at the same time tried to plant that seed of doubt in people's mind by using the toe as a reason why he performed so poorly. Read between the lines.
I think people are being unfair to D Haye. The last time we saw a fight of these proportions with an ex cruiserweight versus a 6'5" heavyweight with Manny Steward in his corner was Holyfield vs Lewis. Think about how ineffective the great Holyfield was, especially in the first fight. And as Manny Steward has stated; Lewis took far more chances, then the safety first Wladimer.
Yes I do think it's about how exciting a boxer is as it's an entertainment sport and at no point did I say he was bad so of course I wouldn't spar him, believe it or not boring and bad mean different things and I called him boring.
he said that at 3:45!!! pay attention sir ppl outside boxing dont understand, its not like football where u can play next week and get subbed by someone just as good! shows are huge and preps for months. injuries do affect performances for sure, otherwise stevie me would have 50 appearances in a red shirt. i think he can do it cos klits are ageing, he needs to go for vitali first for confidence and then go for wlad reminding him of corrie sanders along the way
david haye just said it was a factor - not THE factor. besides he already admitted sometimes that wladimir klitschko was the better boxer. so get your facts straight, dude!
NOT only doesn't Haye man up to admit that Klitschko outfought him in their match-up, but he adds insult to injury by pathetically using a broken right pinky toe as an excuse for not having his Hayemaker at his disposal. During Vlad's defeat of Lamon Brewster on 7 July 2007 he fought most of the six-round fight with a broken middle finger on his left hand, yet never complained of it. Our only real regret with this bout is that Haye didn't fall victim to the Steelhammer to become Vlad's 50th KO.
whats even worse than this is some of the people that claim "Lennox Lewis Destroyed Klitschko" how the fuck do you destroy someone you were losing on all scorecards too? Vitali rocked the shit out of him and Lewis held for dear life...Lewis hit Vitali with some huge bombs and didn't even phase him! all he did was open a gash on his eye...if i square off with someone and I get a cut above my eye or bloody nose from one punch, yet i beat the fuck out of the other guy? did i lose? fuck no!!
@MrNodzilla Hey!! PLaying footy (soccer) also had the same thing happan to me, I played for my small town of Alyshta in Crimea for the junior team of my city, and, yes~! =I did play with the broken ankle, no problem, you do it any way :-)
David Haye is in great physical condition, well trained, hard puncher, knows boxing real good, achieved a lot in boxing, but when it came down to fight a real fight, ???
@TheTubestud Klitsko didn't do everything he said. He said he was going to punish Haye for 12 rounds then knock him out in the last. That didn't happen.
toe? did he say toe? what fighter goes into a fight 100%? that is unheard of, of all injuries you can have going into a fight a toe injury has to be least worrying one
I don't think u guys who are talking bad about Haye actually saw the fight. It was close and both were playing it safe and the margins in the score were suspiciously large between the two fighters in favor or Wlad, which sounded like a whole bunch of BS. Love him/hate him, I don't think Haye was in anyway "outclassed" by any of you posers saying that, & I don't think there was anyway in hell the scores had such a gap the way the did in the end. Haye knew it and had class and congratulated Wlad.
This guy has an unwarranted sense of confidence for someone with a boxing legacy which could at best be described as average. Does he actually think that his victory over chisora actually repairs the humiliation he suffered at the hands of Klitchko? Not to mention the embarrassingly pathetic way he dealt with his defeat & tried to excuse it with a bee sting on his toe? Haye should take his money & his shit legacy & go & pursue his dream of what will ultimately be an equally tragic acting career!
@999grime no you dont pull out on the biggest boxing fight in 10 years, when you pulled out last time...when its only a little toe, when yo have to reschedule a football stadium with the new season only weeks away...when you have have a numbing shot etc etc you just dont do that,
Haye is full of hot air. What a disappointing performance... and then he starts complaining about his toe! What a looser. "I need another [painkiller] shot" - a complete collapse of respect for him
@BriarRoseX Chisora, spat in Wladimirs face which was out of order. Haye gives it plenty of mouth before fights, but the fight with Chisora I think is the first time it's gone any further.
I think Haye lost because of the flashy flash.
😂😂
And the earrings
😂😂😂😂
Lolllll
All these years later and that still makes me laugh😂😂😂
Ironically he danced well with a broken toe but hardly threw a punch with a healthy hand
His toe didn't seem to keep him from running so why didn't he punch more??? He made a good deal of money for talking his way into a super fight.
8:40 - Exactly what Haye did!
Dyche9 he will prove people wrong
@@tomdude75 Did he?
@@swampthing94 No
He was never going to pullout neither would I for a 15 million payday I'd fight with 2 broken hands....
Like Wlad said, Haye probably kicked the wall pretty hard after the fight :D
Klichko destroyed Haye mentally before the fight and then he destroyed him in the ring. Talking how grat he was dodn’t get him far.
Shut up
I doubt he actually had that injury before the fight. I think it's like wladimir suggests, I think he kicked a wall after losing.
Excuse after excuse before the fight he said am not injured
Broke his hand and then continued with the fight and won LMAO I would like to know about this fight.
He is an embarrassment to British Boxing and an arrogant up jumped boxer. True he didn't get knocked down but he fell down enough times. Just my opinion though.

Groves beat eubank with one arm
Big mouth.. No action.
I do not understand this argument. Haye circled (effectively) and danced the entire fight. His cardio looked good. If he is that mobile during the fight how can he honestly piss and moan about the injury later?

excuses ergh ergh ergh
Haye embarrassed British boxing with this whole fiasco
With all his excuses, this guy should go on tour with Hillary Clinton.
And almost 9 years later hes still fighting....in 3 weeks time!
great example of a boxer with gifted physicality but no mindset. He relies on luck not intellect
Klitschko gave him great advice after the fight, dont mention the toe! but he couldnt help it, speaks volumes about haye.
whats your two other languages ?
I like Haye for his friendly and open smiling air :)
Alright Haye knows he was outclassed but you have to remember haye's natural weight is cruiser, alot lighter than klitchko, so atleast he had the bollox to give it a go. The only reason he went up a weight was because he ruled the whole cruiserwight scene.
Andre Ward beat Carl Froch with a broken hand, Haye just makes excuses!
Ward is a complete boxer. Haye doesn't have the maturity and skill set that SOG possess.
And in the rematch Klitschko beat Brewster with a broken hand AND vitali Klitshko beat Chisora with one arm!
andre ward have white father have better genetic than the black father of the loser haye
@TheTubestud Well put point:-) Bravo sir!
@MrRobbicop yeah he mentioned it in an pre fight interview with klitschko.
@kopf112 hey hey i'm not that old ! ^^ just wondering why Belgium is not on your God Bless List on your channel ?! :D
To not be able to admit that he was destroyed by a much better boxer, shows just how bad of a sportsman and boxer he is. Karma hit him hard and deservedly. I know he’s said that Klitschko was better than him, but throwing in the broken toe is embarrassing
Excuses are like assholes, everyone has one and they all stink...
@gillri Not this time.
@fpesdlo agreed!
Great fight! :)
@EsaulRuss Although I'm a Haye supporter but I agree with you. At a football(soccer) trial I continued and played great although I damaged my ankle on the day which means Haye could have probably ignored his toe injury.
Looking back it's strange how many times Haye slipped that night. Its like there was something wrong with his foot.
I swear that when you fight, the adrenaline you get makes you forget about pain?
Well done to the two gets humouring him
i have been a boxing fan for 50 years and i have never felt such disgust for a fighter before all the carrying on by this haye thiing i cannoot bring myself to calling it a man .this thing masquerading as a boxer earned ten million pounds for fighthing with his mouth when one of the best fighters of all time ricardo lopez earned less than two milliion dollars for over 30 title fights and over 80 fiights undefeated 'it makes me sick . this frauds purse should be givento charity.

i think klitschkos would beat haye anyway but still to be fair boxing with a broken toe or foot injury would hinder anyones performance
as someone who does sports science at university, let me inform you if a fighter goes into a fight with a broken jaw and takes a massive punch it can leave them with some serious injuries, there is no way in hell someone has gone into a fight with a broken jaw, maybe they would have broken their jaw during the fight but as far as going into a fight with a cleanly broken jaw would not get past the board of control or the medic, not a chance
@999grime it shows he cares grime, and wanting a rematch shows he wasnt just there for the payday, which i kinda liked

Bla bla bla bla
Legend says that his toe is still broken to this day.
@okeken If that is the case he (or his staff) must have made a shocking decision to carry on with the fight. How was he supposed to produce any punching power? Also how was he supposed to move properly? I don't know if its a proper excuse. He should have just copped it on the chin as a loss and carried on with his career.
Right on point man.
It wasn't tysons trash talk that got him noticed, it was his explosive speed and power, he knocked out his first 19 opponents, 13 in the first round, all in the space of his first 14 months as a pro.
he has very impressive nostrils..... they open up when he breathes.....
Hate interrupts people rude
I broke my leg currently on the mend and briefly forgot and went to push off and just collapsed for him to fight good man
The reason why he even mentioned the toe was to use it as an excuse. If he REALLY wanted to give Wlad full credit for the win he wouldn't have mentioned the toe at all. He gave Wlad credit but at the same time tried to plant that seed of doubt in people's mind by using the toe as a reason why he performed so poorly. Read between the lines.
They can't make heavy weights. They can only fight whats available.
@118Huntervasser
amen to that.
Emotionally I broke my toe therefore I suck.
I think people are being unfair to D Haye. He actually seems like a pretty cool guy.
i was gonna say the same thing but i read your comment and just liked it :)
I like David Haye. Entertaining fighter and likeable personality. All the trashtalk was just part of the show.
I'm glad he's coming back..... for an even more vicious beating.
what are you talking about, David haye did fight with hes broken toe??? he only said it would of been a better fight if hes toe werent broken....
more times than you can ever dream of.
Yes I do think it's about how exciting a boxer is as it's an entertainment sport and at no point did I say he was bad so of course I wouldn't spar him, believe it or not boring and bad mean different things and I called him boring.
Humble pie.....
@reeirt hmm...nice theory
he said that at 3:45!!! pay attention sir
ppl outside boxing dont understand, its not like football where u can play next week and get subbed by someone just as good! shows are huge and preps for months. injuries do affect performances for sure, otherwise stevie me would have 50 appearances in a red shirt. i think he can do it cos klits are ageing, he needs to go for vitali first for confidence and then go for wlad reminding him of corrie sanders along the way
He's now that guy fighting out of retirement loosing and being injured
Trevor L i might start paying for his fights now.. seeing him getting smashed up will be worth every penny
@vit1008 when he's in the ring i laugh my ass off so by continuing to box he's further developing his career as a comedian.
Also look at his enterance, you'll see someone stand on his foot! he's not lying,...look at it!
Yeah because Tyson was such a world beater. He ducked Holyfield in 1990 to fight Douglas and still got his ass handed to him.
All jokes aside ....Hayes greatest moment - was a losing one to Bellew - that was a gutsy effort .....we can say what we like ....but that took grit .
The secret of winning this fight was not with his haymaker, it was knowing how to fight inside, like Tyson...
david haye just said it was a factor - not THE factor.
besides he already admitted sometimes that wladimir klitschko
was the better boxer.
so get your facts straight, dude!

learn how to be more humble and not put 500 pounds of pressure on yourself mr. Haye.
whats even worse than this is some of the people that claim "Lennox Lewis Destroyed Klitschko" how the fuck do you destroy someone you were losing on all scorecards too? Vitali rocked the shit out of him and Lewis held for dear life...Lewis hit Vitali with some huge bombs and didn't even phase him! all he did was open a gash on his eye...if i square off with someone and I get a cut above my eye or bloody nose from one punch, yet i beat the fuck out of the other guy? did i lose? fuck no!!
Haha the guy ROFL'ing at 2:24 and walking away
3:43 he stop the trash-talk for a seconds...
@MrNodzilla Hey!! PLaying footy (soccer) also had the same thing happan to me, I played for my small town of Alyshta in Crimea for the junior team of my city, and, yes~! =I did play with the broken ankle, no problem, you do it any way :-)
Olympic runners have won they're races with broken toes and he's complaining. He's the biggest joke in boxing history
respect level for Haye has gone up for being honest
David Haye is in great physical condition, well trained, hard puncher, knows boxing real good, achieved a lot in boxing, but when it came down to fight a real fight, ???
@TheTubestud Klitsko didn't do everything he said. He said he was going to punish Haye for 12 rounds then knock him out in the last. That didn't happen.
toe? did he say toe? what fighter goes into a fight 100%? that is unheard of, of all injuries you can have going into a fight a toe injury has to be least worrying one
How many fights has he postponed since this!?
WANKA WANKA WANKA
I don't think u guys who are talking bad about Haye actually saw the fight. It was close and both were playing it safe and the margins in the score were suspiciously large between the two fighters in favor or Wlad, which sounded like a whole bunch of BS.

They dont. Were not all from London.
This guy has an unwarranted sense of confidence for someone with a boxing legacy which could at best be described as average. Does he actually think that his victory over chisora actually repairs the humiliation he suffered at the hands of Klitchko? Not to mention the embarrassingly pathetic way he dealt with his defeat & tried to excuse it with a bee sting on his toe? he glassed me !!!!!!!!
@999grime no you dont pull out on the biggest boxing fight in 10 years, when you pulled out last time...when its only a little toe, when yo have to reschedule a football stadium with the new season only weeks away...when you have have a numbing shot etc etc
you just dont do that,

"I need another [painkiller] shot" - a complete collapse of respect for him
@BriarRoseX Chisora, spat in Wladimirs face which was out of order. Haye gives it plenty of mouth before fights, but the fight with Chisora I think is the first time it's gone any further.
No way
How many punches did this man take without getting knocked out.Talk about one sided boxing matches
david haye has unfinshed business all boxers lose ie klitchko lost badly against brewster and corrie sanders but came back stronger a true champion
I don’t see any excuses here like he lost only just for me but yeah haye is awesome 👏🏻
@TheTubestud He said Haye would be his 50th KO and he could not do it even with Haye being 60% in the fight because of his injury.
@kopf112 so at when point did your I.Q. became the same number as your shoe size?
how would you hurt your little toe unless you were walking around barefoot? Aren't you supposed to be careful about your body before a fight?
