This vid really underplays just how damn loud they idle

That's how *turbo-diesel engines* (in pickup trucks, at least) ...should sound today -- *loud and gnarly,* not *dull and quiet.*

As long a there's coal I'm all for it! Nothing sexier than a diesel dumping coal 😍🤤💨💨😎

That *Ford 6.0L PowerStroke V8 Turbo Diesel engine* sounds mean! Even more so with *straight pipes!*
If I had a truck like that, it'd be a *2006 Ford F-350 Super Duty 6.0L PowerStroke V8 Turbo Diesel 4x4 Lariat (crew cab, dually long-bed).*
    -- *Noticeable Modification(s):*
    · *8 or 10-inch lift kit*
    · *37x12.5-inch mud and/or all-terrain tires* mounted on *17x12-inch rims* (17x26-inch in the back)
    · *Sony™ stereo unit* (with CD player, AUX and Bluetooth)
    · *6x8-inch Sony™ door speakers* (with 2-inch tweeters)
    · *Dual 10-inch 250w Sony™ subwoofers* (w/ 500w Kenwood amplifier)
    · (optional) *DVD player* w/ *12-inch TV monitor*
    · (optional) *Auxiliary power outlet*

You can't power brake the Copper color 6.0? What size of tires and turbo are you running? What mods have you done to the 6.0 Thanks

@Panda Gaming 14 Probably swapped in a *7.3L* into that particular truck.
But from what I heard, those engines get terrible *fuel mileage,* even for a turbo-diesel.

Non VGT 6.0. You can tell just by the sound of the starter..

    • @josecarrilloii4036
      @josecarrilloii4036 Před 3 lety

@@govtfunded I'm pretty sure the *starter motor* is the same with a 6.0L PowerStroke engine. It's primarily the *exhaust system,* the *catalytic converter* and the *type of turbocharger* that gives it a different overall exhaust note.
That truck in the end of the video probably had a *non-V.G.T. turbocharger (Variable Geometry Turbocharger),* which gives it that exhasut sound of the older *7.3L PowerStroke.*

Nope. That's an older *7.3L PowerStroke.*
All Ford V8 PowerStrokes -- right from their introduction in mid-1994 to today -- ...were *turbocharged* from the factory.

Matz Madicus some of these trucks are ridiculous, but most don’t drive or own anything like this. And the emissions in new trucks does kill the environment too, so we all doing our fair share of hurting the environment in our own way.

      **Vehicle*
The Ford F-Series (including the Super Duty models since 1997) are technically *pickup trucks,* and many of them have a *V8* under the hood.
