Am a dental hygienist. Nelo is very much correct, but this only applies when you are using sensodyne toothpaste like she mentioned(do not rinse your mouth after brushing because the sensodyne paste forms a coating layer on your teeth and prevents them from sensitivity).

Regarding rinsing after brushing. I stopped rinsing for over 10 years due to its benefits on my gums etc according to research. But then,I use a unique toothpaste and make sure that I spit out all the paste. Sometimes instead of rinsing,I use Listerine mouth wash,very fresh
