I think the problem with a lot of these items is that they are made for small people and then just sized up so they're never gonna fit right because they're just not cut for your body shape. So many online and physical stores do this and it's really frustrating.

Maybe Shein doesn't work for you because its a Japanese website and usually people from Asia run really small. they probably don't know how to size someone with ur body type (Not trying to hate) I myself am a bigger girl and I've bought from Shein before and not had a problem. I love their clothes

It's OK if you don't have wide shoulders or a large bust or a taller than 5'3". I have swimmer's shoulders, so I don't fit in Asian clothing. I live in Australia, most of the clothes here are made in Asia. My 6' tall daughter finds the dresses don't cover her underwear, they are so short! I tell the girls in the shops that they are tops not dresses! I'm 5'5" and a size 14/16 when I find a dress to fit me and try it on, the short ones don't cover my underwear either, and unlike my daughter, I am shortwaisted.
I think the biggest problem she's having is not the fit, but the poor quality. The yellow dress fit.
I am a 4/6 size and the shirts fit perfect but the bottoms I always have problems with from shien or Zaful, they don’t take into account hips but the prices are good

LindsAy with Attitude idk, you'd be surprised. I've seen several videos where a CZcamsr has put something on backwards (one a dress and one a swimming suit) and there are probably many more. Not saying she doesn't know how to put on pants, it's just not an uncommon mistake it seems.
Since she said they had slits in the front in the right video, and in the left video they were on the back, I'm sure she did put them on wrong lol
Idk if they were backwards or not but they were ugly. And assuming there was a tag on the inside you'd think she'd have put them on right. If not that's the weirdest made pair of pants to have a tag in the front a button and zipper in the back.

I've had great experiences with this site..and purchased many items. I've washed the clothing and no issues. I returned an item due to the style not being flattering on me. I was refunded very quickly

Why do you get so upset of cheap clothing. You know what you're getting yourself into, and you're also obviously ordering this stuff for the purpose of doing a haul video. Maybe too rather than just saying it's a bad dress that's falling apart, you can be a bit more specific about where the seams are coming undone and how much of the seams are unravelling.
Cato use to be more expensive but had cheap clothing but have improved since I was in 7th grade and I'm 35 now.

True. I bought about 5 pairs of $5 jeans from them. They’re super thin but I already knew that I was getting what I was paying for. They’re good for the price but terrible in general so I can’t complain.

Shein, Romwe, Zaful, etc. are all the same company using different names to get more traffic. They are all pretty terrible. The clothing is cheap, but the quality is always questionable. Many people have complained about not receiving items at all, and the customer service is terrible.
VX X1 the quality is also absolute garbage. You are literally better off shopping at a brand name store when their stuff is on sale
Heck, you'd be better off at Walmart... I've gotten some basics at Walmart that were inexpensive, and the quality is decent.
I've seen romwe hauls with shein packaging! They don't even try to hide how they are the same!

That's why in my original comment I stated that the quality is questionable. Some people have a good experience, like you have. But it seems like these poor experiences with Shein or Romwe or Zaful are much more common.
You immediately assumed they were bad because they’re made in China. You came into the video rude. You’re a 5-6x from what I’m seeing ( nothing wrong with that ) highest SHEIN goes to is 4x. Im a 1x. A lot of smaller people don’t have many issues with the clothing, the material is a hit or miss. Especially those with a huge bust ( like me ) SHEIN really isn’t that bad. The white shirt you cut in half was probably made so well, but you cut it in half instead of donating? You knew it wouldn’t fit. Your arms are too large for tighter shirts that don’t have stretch.... you really need to re search before doing these hauls.

Same! I get all of my dresses and skirts from there. None have fallen apart and they all fit perfectly! They have some really pretty clothes!

The devil shirt had me in tears laughing. I’ve had that happen to me one to many times, usually in a dressing room where I have no scissors on hand... The struggle is real.
How can you be surprised that this didn’t work? Cheap prices = cheaply made. Maybe instead of buying loads of garbage clothes you should invest in something good that actually fits.

Keep in mind shes bringing content to what viewers want and eeryone has different budgets. Also i think alot of people were just genuinely curious about shein clothing especially for plus sizing as asian sizing isnt exactly known for its large sizing.

That last dress is NOT good for your body shape - the very bottom layer (pink?) is too great a difference in colour. The rust coloured pants - you had them on backwards. The slits are supposed to be in front. That might explain why, when you had them on, there was a strange kind of puckering going on in the upper booty area. I LOVED that yellow dress, also. It was the only thing you got that truly looked good on you: colour, cut, length, style. It really is unfortunate that it is falling apart. Rescue it if you possibly can. These comments are coming from a 300 lb. woman, so I am well aware of the trials of trying to find something chic in our size for not a lot of money. Actually, when you consider that you spent $200 - why not just go to a seamstress/tailor and get a dress/top/pants/etc made to measure. It should only cost about the same as you paid for this “bag of junk”. I have paid $200-300 dollars for dresses and I love them. They are extremely well made and whenever I need to look especially well turned out - they are my “go to” outfits. You really do get what you pay for! Thank you for doing this video and alerting us to the, possibly, very disappointing outcome of dealing with Shein. 💖👏💖👏💖 👵🏻💕🐾
Can you fix the yellow dress by resewing all the seams? Just sew over every seam with quality thread...maybe use clear poly thread, it's really strong. Because it really did look good on you.
Predatorhousepet more than likely the fabric is also super thin and won't hold thread. If she really likes the dress she could find fabric and have someone make it in its image

There are people her size and bigger that haven't had a problem. It's not size, she just probably didn't look at the measurement graph.
I usually wear a medium in clothing but i did an order from romwe for various things and threw in a few tops. I knew things fit smaller so i went two sizes up and ordered an XL and they still fit wonky and unwearable.
I've seen those measurement graphs be frustratingly off. I went with my gut on a Wish item and ordered larger than the graph indicated and the item BARELY fit. If I'd followed the guide, it would have been a Goodwill donation. All the Asian sites have hits and misses. It's kind of a crap shoot whether something's going to fit right or not. It's almost like gambling, which is fine if the item's super cheap and you have the disposable income, I guess.
Wish and Shein are different though. And I have never heard of someone measuring themselves and going off the guide on Shein/Romwe and it being off. There are definitely people the same size and bigger who have tried, go look them up on CZcams.
I buy clothes from shein all the time and i love it. Sometimes i order too big lol but i still keep them in case eventually they end up fitting me and i honestly dont think the quality isnt as bad as you make it out to be. So far none of my clothes have even come close to falling apart. But everyone has their own oppinion. I just keep my expectations low and then im happy😂

Please don't feel too bad. I live in Asia and plus-sized clothing is a newer thing here so designers are still learning how to cut clothes to fit larger women. It's pretty common to buy a shirt with a torso that is extremely oversized and would probably fit a 6XL with arms you would find on a medium.
I don't the clothes are the problem. You chose things that were not for your body type.

I found a denim jacket that had a good measurement. Took the chance and was thrilled when I pulled it out of the package. Super thrilled. Massively thrilled. Because it was clearly going to fit. I put it on and just stood there in sadness. It was so cute. It actually closed over my chest and gut. The sleeves were long enough and even had a lot of room. But the seam where the sleeves and jacket itself was connected was about 3 inches tighter than the sleeves themselves. In fact, it was so gathered that it made the sleeves look ballooned. And that seam just cut into my arms like nobody's business. In theory, I could RIP the seam and restitch it. But I was so mad, I just tossed it on the floor and then kicked it around the room.

I have big arms and I've had this happen with a few shirts. I also hate really short sleeves, like the cap sleeves. It makes me sad when a nice shirt, that I love otherwise, has tiny sleeves. I don't like my arms showing, so I either have to wear it with a cardigan-type thing over it, or be uncomfortable. Why do designers think fat women want tiny sleeves?

OK I have to say this, I've bought tons of stuff from SheIn and never had an issue with fit or sizing or any issues with orders not arriving. So long as you buy the right size for your actual proportions, rather than the size you normally buy here, they're fine. Those individual size charts for each item are invaluable (not the general size chart) and I find them accurate. For example, usually I'm a 0X with SheIn but occasionally an item runs super small and the size chart for that item tells me to get a 2X, or the chest measurement is my size but the hip measurement isn't. I find following that chart pretty reliable as long as you pay attention to ALL the measurements. I ignore the general site size chart. As for quality, I don't find it the best in the universe, but it's not generally terrible - when you're paying ten bucks for a dress, you can't expect luxury, although yeah...it shouldn't fall apart unless you've squeezed into something too small. The quality on stuff I've gotten is no different from cheaper US retailers like Forever 21 or European places like Primark or BooHoo. It's maybe just not the store for your particular body type, whereas other places are better suited for your shape. I actually liked that first little faux wrap dress on you - it would have looked cuter if it was just a size or two bigger and draped better. The color looked great and it had a nice retro vibe going and made your skin glow!
Finally a shein haul that is real. The clothes suckkkkk! I bought 150 bucks worth and I hated everything! Most didn't fit right even tho i measured myself. Very frustrating that so many people talk shein up when it's utter shit!!

Girl, Target has a new line of clothes called Wild Fable. I was looking online and it goes up to a 4x. The sizing chart looks generous and the items are cute af. I've seen some CZcamsrs try their plus line but the biggest was a size 18. Just wondering how bigger sizes will fair. 🤔

i've personally had a completely different experience at shein. i knew things were going to run fairly small, so even with the measurements, i made sure to size up in some stuff. yeah a lot of it isn't great quality but you get what you pay for 4 sure, and most things worked out for me. i used to be a 24-ish but now i'm about a 20-22 and i'd say i have better luck now than i did then. i think it depends a lot on your body type & clothing size!

SHEIN is actually good for the price. It is cheap and ships fast! I usually have a size 18 and i had to order the biggest Sizes of the plus size collection. That is normal because in asia everything runs small, so i just dont think it is for you. That is nowhere negative because i am very plus size myself, but asian brands are smaller then other brands

I can totally identify with the struggle you were having trying to get out of that tight shirt. I am claustrophobic and when I put something on that is too tight and have to struggle like you were to get out of it, my claustrophobia kicks in and I would use scissors or a knife or a chainsaw or anything I can get my hands on to get out of that dress because I literally feel like I am suffocating. SEND THAT SUCKER BACK! I just watched the part where you cut the blouse to pieces to get it off of you so maybe my idea to send it back is not such a good idea. But hey, at least you're out of it

Shein is an Asian website so the clothes are gonna be 1-2 sizes smaller than most western sizes. Also you need to shop for your body type, not just the style you want to have and to try keep a similar style for most of the clothes.

Maybe I missed it in the comments but SheIn tailors more to a plus sized Asian woman. Specifically probably Chinese/Taiwanese. From living in Taiwan, I notice some of the women tend to carry in their face and tummy, hence the small arms. Their torso are shorter too. That’s why shirts seem too short.
Great haul video! I have had a way different experience with Shein. I purchased from their store for the first time about a month ago. I received my items within a week. I wear a medium most of the time and depending on the brand sometimes a small. I knew that the quality of items wasn't going to be the best so I really thought about the Items I wanted to purchase. I also didn't buy anything over $10. When I got my items I tried everything on and everything fits decently well for me, enough so that I don't feel like I need to return items or feel that I wasted my money. For the price, I think the items I got were worth it. Yes, I saw some loose threads but nothing too problematic. Overall I am pretty happy with my items I got from Shein. I wonder if there is a big difference between buying Small/Medium items and Large/X-Large. It seems to be that way and that is really unfortunate. Also, I do believe they have a return policy! :) xoxo
Cali_Blonde98 She’s plus size though and like she said for many of us plus size women it’d be a complete and total waste of our money to buy such ill fitting and bad quality clothing... but if you’re a straight size woman it’s not as bad because you can size up and it won’t be tight or rip on you... I hope that’s understandable ☺️

Tammy Howell clothes are so beautiful but such a nuisance when it comes to sizing! I can only hope that one day we live in a world where all clothes have the ability to fit everyone perfectly lol
Actually it is not. I bought from She in and was pleasantly surprised. I'm plus size, too. You only have to look at the measurement of each clothing item. I did and it fit me perfectly.
Love the yellow dress but fyi the red pants u had on backwards. Also did u order sizes how im a size 3x or 22 pants sometimes 20pants and curious

I once accidentally wore my 8 year old sisters shirt thinking it was my cropped tee ( I’m nearly 13 ) I had to get my mum to help me get it off (I’m not plus size but I think we can all relate to this video 😂😂)
