I checked out a number of youtube videos to help one of my bar-mitzvah students. After I checked several others, I arrived at this one. Cantor Camhi was the only one of the group who got it right--unless ignoring the trope marks for the first three words has become acceptable minhag (which appears to be the case in many communities). I will definitely recommend this video to all my future students. Brava, Cantor Camhi.

Why do you skip the first note? Shouldn't it sound exactly like the note used for "Adonai"?
"Baruch" uses a kadma--"Adonai" uses a pashta. I'm pretty sure she got it right.

No need. Saying this blessing requires the congregation to say Amen, not the shaliach tzibur.
