Would it make any difference to have the throttle plates rotate the same direction to create even distribution across the front to back filling of the plenums on the right and left bank? Or did you want to have more on the front cylinders on one bank vs more on the back cylinders on the other? How are you metering intake air?
Is the DBW setup on these using the GENIII architecture (running off of a TAC module), or is it using the newer GENIV DBW system? Can the Xram be ordered sans throttle bodies so a different style or size could be used (it looks modular but I can't really tell for sure)?

How will this fit with the steering colium and brake booster and frame??? Thise headers won't fit and the intake might not fit with the brake booster. Too wide but sounds wicked. Love the responce timing.

+Robert Kohut No, this has nothing to do with supercars. They are usually built with exotic mid engine V12 setups. Less displacement and more power. By comparison, this is an albeit well designed, but simple hot rod engine, not an über sophisticated high power screaming exotic power plant.

+BigEsGarage Times have changed. The engines put in modern sports cars and super cars are quite reliable. You don't see Ferraris, Lambos, Porsches etc. with blown engines, even though they have been tracked and driven hard. The Merc V12 Pagani uses are as bulletproof as it gets. You have to remember that even though those engines make a lot of power, they still come with longer and longer warranties. If reliability was a huge issue, manufactures and 3rd. party companies would not make huge profits selling extended warranties. In this day and age, when you buy an extended warranty, you bet against the house - and the house always win.
Ask NRE to warrant that engine for 3 years...

+ABOlsen69X Most decent builders do warrant their engines, and build for applications. All any of the exotic companies have to do is say "you used it wrong" and poof, no warranty claim. Eg, Nissan w/ GTRs - traction ctrl off, use launch ctrl, warranty is now void.

Do you even know what 180 degree headers are? If you do, please explain the difference between a set of regular headers that merge into vs. 180 degree headers merging into one.
A bit of advice. NEVER go to a place where people actually know cars and engines and say what you just posed, because they will laugh at you.
The only way headers can be 180 degree headers, are if they merge 4-1. 8-1 will completely negate all and everything that makes them 180 degree headers.

Mr. Nelson, what allows the motor to return to idle so quickly after a full throttle pull? I'd love this type of response in my future build. Is it the fact that it's coupled up to a load that allows it to return to idle so quickly, or is it a really lightweight rotating assembly?

Nick has a lot to do with the rotating mass behind the engine i.e. The flywheel or torque converter. The lighter the rotating mass the quicker it will rev up and down

on a side note, this looks like a royal pain in the ass if you get a bad injector or leaking fuel rail,, make the plenum about 3"-4" higher off the valve covers for maintenance reason and it would be great

I don't k ow if they make it for cathedral port heads but you could swap to the mast heads with the LS3 rectangular intake ports
If you have an LE1, start but putting better heads on it. Then if you want more, get the Edelbrock cross ram. If you want to keep the LS1 anchors. get the Holley cross ram.
