This is how table tennis should be filmed. And it actually was filmed like that in the past! It's a shame we ended up with the flat "from behind" angle. Oh and this new "from the side" nausea inducing angle they are trying to use is even worse, can't see anything at all.

I notice that this 40+ball can't applied the speed when player hit curve topspin so this fan play style is very adventage in this 40+era (i can see wang hao retire ma lin retire xu xin more tired and ma long is still play because ma long strategy can hit ball curve like this too and dont have new j-pen star cause jpen or cpen 1side mainly weapon is more curve ball) just mine opinion

@Mei Choi. Learned "Sal Pong" in Chinese (Putonghua) means [Little Chubby = applies to a young stubby fellow] but never seen him branded as "Dong Gor". On second thought, sounds to me "Dong" rhymes to FZ [Dong] and '"Gor" rhymes to [Brother, implies more maturity] in Chinese. Fits him as he's growing from a few years back. Correct me if it's something new. BTW, most Chinese names are in 3 characters (words). Fan ZhenDong should be correctly listed as Fan (family name) Zhen (first name) and Dong (middle name) separately. Our magician XuXin's name is an exception with only 2 characters but should be written apart as Xu (family) and Xin (first name). Chinese family name, in oriental culture, stands in front while the westerners set it at the end. Chinese call the middle name to a person but first name is used by western people. That's why "Dong" is used here instead of Fan or Zhen. I've lived in both parts of the world for ages to learn the cultural differences. (still practicing/using Chinese as well)
This is so so much better than other fzd highlights. You can hear how the crowds were amazed by each of those magnificent shots. Fzd is simply the best for years to come and the fact that he speaks Cantonese and sing its song fluently have won him thousands of fans in Hong Kong as some of us truly believe he holds different value deep inside his heart towards ccp compared to most of his northern Chinese teammates
