Hello Federico. Is it very busy or cold in the middle to late march?

Is the train station near St Mark Square? Or do you have to take a gondala from the train station to St Mark Square?

The station is on the otherr end of the Grand Canal. The easiest way to get here is by hopping on a gondola or boat and enjoying a trip down the winding waterway. You can also walk in about 30-40 minutes.

@@freetoursbyfoot3384 Thanks for the info. Because I was led to believe that there's only two bridges in Venice so I thought walking wasn't an option. But from what you're saying, it takes 30-40 minutes walk from the train station to St. Mark's Square.

@@lilpenny1982 Yes, probably even a bit less than 30 minutes depending on your walking pace. Do a Google directions search from Stazione di Venezia Santa Lucia to St. Mark's Square and you'll see several routes to choose from.
