Heat only damages your hair if you use it excessively, without heat protectant, or/and on a very high degree. I usually blow dry my hair on medium only when my hair is 80% air dry and I use two different kinds of heat protectant and I never had heat damage. Plus , your hair looks great.❤️
Beautiful! Thanks for taking us along. Alot of room for improvement for the lady who was doing your hair but keh she tried. I've also been thinking of relaxing my hair but I love the volume of my hair now that it's natural! But yoh being natural is TIME CONSUMING!
Thank you! Do you have Any tips or tricks to keep the scalp moisturised? I foresee a challenge in comparison to the Afro as I was using water twice a day. Not sure if that will work with relaxed hair.
See, I need to go to that type of salon. You can bring your own products. Years ago I tried to do that and the stylist told me I couldn't because she it was a liability because she didn't know if I put something in it. My products were brand new. Anyway, your hair looks great! Thanks for sharing
Im based in Mthatha, I do my hair at Khloe Hair Salon, a coloured lady.. She does the head massage and blow dry ur hair.. Ibe bouncy kamnandi njani.. She uses Mizani products.. She doesnt use hairfood or hair moisturizer, ukuthambisa i Silicone.. Mna andinanwele indalo thats why bendilila..
@@KetelwaZote it's waaay better uku dryer nge silicone the texture is beautiful, hair management is at home is easy in my experience. Ndiyavumelelana nawe le technique aku dryer ngayo usistaz akuyiyo ngcam, nale kama ayisebenzisayo andikho sure ngayo. 😂 You have great hair.
Me too😭😭Shall we just do it? Im tired of wearing wigs and natural and braids not for me. Dont have time and i dont got the head for it. I want a relaxer so bad
@@KetelwaZote Hi, I've always hated having my hair blow dried when it was relaxed, so roller setting was the better option for me as it left my hair with body and bounce. I'm pretty sure you can get a roller set at any local beauty store in your area and also get a hooded dryer as well.
@@KetelwaZote its actually better for your hair in the long run. only use the plastic/magnetic ones and dont sleep on them. the down side is you will have roller parts but not to worry. if you putt it in a loose bun the parts go away and the curls last for a week to 10 days.
I literally think of relaxing my hair EVERYDAY, this might be the sign I’ve been needing to go through with it 😂🤣
Prob get a texlax
Same🤣🤣

Oh definitely! She did her best!
Relaxed hair has its own challenges but Hayi they’re better than the Afro challenges. Time being the biggest factor!
Your hair looks absolutely gorgeous, welcome to the relaxed hair journey 😊

Thanks for the heads up! I’ll be camping on your channel🙏🏾🤌🏾❤️

It makes no sense to not be able to bring your own products! It’s definitely a selling point for me.
Thank you!
Have been thinking of relaxing my two years natural hair, and wow this is my motivation 😍😍😍off to the salon
Lovely stuff! Share how it went😎
Don't blame you, hard to manage on a busy schedule.
RIGHT BEHIND YA SIS🏃🏾♀️💨💨
On new growth after 6 weeks start giving the new roots more moisture with scurl activator.
I’ll definitely try this!
I am a believer in relaxing my hair!!
Same! I’ll keep relaxing until it’s silky smooth even if it takes me a year andizuphela mamela!
Your hair and skin is so beautiful
Thank you!
I don’t understand what you’re saying but how you switch between the two languages is beautiful!
It’s English and isiXhosa

This sounds like a lovely experience! How’s the management at home if she uses only silicone? You continue ngayo?

Thank you! I actually need to learn how to lay these edges or else I’ll be in trouble!
Are you going back and forth between English and another language?
Yes! It’s isiXhosa. Where are you from and which languages you you speak?
I think about relaxing everyday 😭😭😭😭
Ndizincamile! The pain was no longer worth it!
Me too😭😭Shall we just do it? Im tired of wearing wigs and natural and braids not for me. Dont have time and i dont got the head for it. I want a relaxer so bad
I was like 8 when I had mine last relaxed and my hair has grown a lot, when I had it done,it was falling out
Oh wow! In my experience, once you do an Afro the hair texture never really gets strong enough to withstand a relaxer.
Azisentle, uyafaneleka 😍 hair drying, especially after you’ve just unplaited is the worst, ibangathi usesi hogweni
Thank you! It’s the deepest pit of hell 😂😂😂
I think i want to relax my hair now🥰
I would definitely recommend it!
Umhle Ketelw. I enjoy your videos. 💛💛
Thank you!
What about roller setting your hair instead?
I’ve never thought of roller setting my hair. Is there a specific brand or place I can get the rollers or tong that you can recommend?

Hairdresser should’ve clip the ends, set rollers and maybe flat iron as well
I’ll advise her to try that next time
😂😂😂😂I love the edges
Haha!
Come back to youtube
You are so beautiful
Thank you
U look beautiful. Akhonto engakufaneli
Thank you!🙏🏾
Why don't hair dressers roller set relaxed hair
Heat and hair dryers on relaxed hair is a no no🙈
It’s not even an option and the heat really does damage the hair which I’d difficult to repair.
Uzibethe ziyoxela 😂😂😂😂😂😂❤️
Haha! Ndizosokola uzenza😂
You are talking in english and another languge. I cant understand
Where did u relax i am also planing to relax my hair its afro looking for the right place
It’s a salon in East London. Depending on where you’re based it’s easier to find salons that treat relaxed hair than Afro hair.
I hope you find one😎
Are you going in and out of another language?
Yes. I’ll look into doing subtitles going forward🙏🏾
I have fomo🙈🙈🙈🤦🏽♀️
Haha! Go for it!
