    Nice, I’m trying Chinese on training wheels (Duolingo). Pimsleur seems like it would work well but I think Rocket may be the platform best suited to me. Great video as always, thanks!

    How would you compare it against Rocket? I find the rocket app is very clunky but the audio lessons and exercises after are really good, if they improved their UI they would probably be head and shoulders better.

      Yep, very well said. I actually think Rocket offers superior lessons and exercises, but they just need to up their game when it comes to user experience. Head to head though, substance wins out IMO

    Did you actually use Pimsluer? The lessons are 30 mins long not an hour

      It's one hour when including all the extra exercises, the audio is only 30 mins like he said in the video
