  • My best tips to search and find exactly what you need in Canva, quickly (and to easily find those elements - or similar ones - again later on), using specific search words, AKA keywords. You'll learn advanced searching tricks to navigate in a more efficient way in the infinite Canva library, especially if you are a Canva Pro user. Also, I'll show how you can use these elements in original ways to create amazing backgrounds and textures, for example, and how to combine elements that go well together. Hope you'll enjoy it!

    I'm so happy to have the "Your Projects" tab now, and I've been working on getting things organized. This gives me some really good ideas for how to do just that. No more stacking a bunch of graphics I like on top of each other on a blank project! Also, love the search hints and especially how to handle backgrounds - this will make projects easier, for sure. I do have a question: Sometimes when I search for an element or background, there will be a block of seemingly endless elements from the same designer with only the very smallest of differences. Is there a way to block those from my search results?

    • @TeamRonDi

    • @TeamRonDi

      That's a good question, I almost never print my designs so I don't really know.

    Thank you for one more amazing video and tips! 🤗🙏🏻
    I have a question. Do you know if Canva is looking for improving the "How to search" folder contents?
    I mean, if we are on the "Folders" view page, should be helpful to click in column "Name" for example and have all Folders organized by Alphabetic order. Or have a sort of subfolder (or subdirectory), for example, if I have a main folder named "Background" I could add in this one subfolder with a different kind of Background as per your example in the Video. Technically as we have in Windows or Mac directory.
    Sorry, not sure if I explained well, but I love the ability to create unlimited folders, but I am getting lost in them 😂
    Maybe Canva already provides this ability and I don't know? 🤔

    • @TeamRonDi
      @TeamRonDi  Před 2 lety +1

      yes I also would like to see more features related to organization and folders. I don't think you can sort your folders alphabetically so far or anything like that.

    Can i modify image when it is made of different grouped images

    • @TeamRonDi
      @TeamRonDi  Před 2 lety

      Depends on what you mean by "modify".
      You can use the Copy Style button and modify several elements all at once for example.
      What are you trying to do?

    Can someone tell me where there’s a rectangle frame? I want to drop a pattern into a rectangle. Or even just a rectangle you can stretch in all sides?

      Hi Michel, try the first grid, it's basically the same as a frame, but you can resize it to your taste.

    Hey there can u pls make a video on how to convert low resolution logo to high resolution probably png to svg

    • @TeamRonDi
      @TeamRonDi  Před 2 lety

      Hey Ruhan,
      if the logo is low resolution to start with, you'll probably have to recreate it if you want high resolution. Changing a low res logo into the SVG format won't solve your problem.

    Hi... it seems we can no more create and share template. Correct ?

    • @TeamRonDi
      @TeamRonDi  Před 2 lety

      Not correct, you can still share templates. They just redesigned the menu.
      Try this: " Share " button, " More " and then " Template link ".

      Hey LaShonda,
      We can do that because we film ourselves with a green background in the studio. Then we get rid of it later in post production with our editing software (Premiere Pro).

    Does Canva have 4K video and photos?

    • @TeamRonDi
      @TeamRonDi  Před 2 lety

      Hi Amanda,
      that's a really good question.
      4K means a min resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixel (for videos).
      Most photos in the Canva library will have this minimum resolution. If you start your searches from canva.com/photos you can actually click on any photo and see its resolution.
      As per videos, it's more difficult to find out as there are no places as of now where to check on that resolution.

  • @aminuteofhappiness6852

    Good and useful tutorial . Not a hater but the youtube title says "You've been searching the wrong way" , 7 mins watching the video and I did not see a solution or tips related to your video title lol. Peace :).

    • @TeamRonDi
      @TeamRonDi  Před 2 lety

      If you clicked on the title and watched 7 minutes, it means the title is working 😎
      And I believe I give people a good bunch of less conventional ways of searching in this video if I evaluate that by the other comments on the video...

    This is very helpful.
    Sometimes I'd spend more than 30 minutes just searching for a particular picture or element.
    Most times, I'd give up and go get the image on Google.
    Thanks for sharing this advanced tips. It'll help me a lot.

      Be careful about "Taking" images from Google as you might run into copyright problems.
