I still see Nichole's smile every time I hear the intro. I remember her bringing the guys lunch and giving them a hard time. She is definitely missed.

I still remember the episode where Nicole grabbed the house keys and Chet kept telling her it was the wrong keys and Nicole was like Nope those are the right ones.Then Nicole,Chet and DougO get to their place and it was the wrong keys.The look on Dougos face was priceless.I laughed my ass off. Nicole you are definitely missed.
She was so sure…and the look of defeat. I was in the vehicle as well. Priceless.

I thank God for the Larson family and for their excellent example of how His followers are to live. The tour of Nikki’s Memorial Garden is a tribute to her delightful life. We could tell how special she was to Doug. She loved her father-in-law almost as much as she loved Chet. We lost a very special girl and still miss her presence. I pray for God to continue His blessings upon your family and each member of the farm operation.

I was lucky enough to talk to Nicole when she and Chet were in California. I talked to her about a hour. She let me know what was going on. I was amazed by her I loved watching her and Chet together. It was so refreshing to see how much they loved each other. Nicole and I talked about God family. Nicole was amazing Lady. I think of her often. We have a beautiful angel smiling down on each of us. We love you Nicole ❤

Thank You Amy for the flower intro in Nicoles garden. I see that A LOT of people ask for a perinial in honor of a loved one to start a memorial garden. What a Wonderful thing to do. Bees and Butterflies and certain birds can enjoy them and help nuture them. You have done a Fabulous job caring for it Amy👏 Your Nicole is Missed by many, she certainly was a spit fire, always smiling, poking fun at Chet or Dougo, and her laugh i can still hear her laugh. I am glad you have her garden to nuture in her honor. I am glad you have a 2nd daughter Jean Marie to cherish as well🤗
I’m thankful for the memories and I often say “Douglas” in Nikki’s voice. She was a spit fire. And yes, thankful and blessed I have another daughter to love in JeanMarie 🥰
Same thing I was thinking! I still get teary eyed about her as I would about somebody being that young. Chet did a good job with how he handled it all

What a good wife, and mother in law. That is such a fantastic memorial for Nicole. That had to ne so hard to go through. I lost a son to Covid 3 years ago and I still have melt downs.
I know you guys definitely do, but even those of us who only knew Nikki through CZcams, still miss her smile and laugh.

What a beautiful tribute to Nicole. She is missed!
Amy on the sign, this is what I would recommend. If you want to stain your sign, I would recommend an oil based stain like Minwax. I have had good luck with it over the years. Wear gloves then take a rag and rub the stain into your sign. Wait untill the stain has soaked in to your liking. Then wipe off the excess stain with a clean rag.
For a top coat I recommend Minwax Helmsman Spar Urethane. It's an outdoor polyurethane that works well. 2 or 3 coats will protect your sign from the weather. Just brush it on and let it dry. If you stain first I would recommend allowing at least 3 days for your stain to complete the drying process.
I would recommend taking your sign down in the winter though. Minnesota winters are tough on wood projects.
I live in the cities and I use spar varnish on anything that's wood and isn't painted. It's a tough coating that will protect your sign for years.
Thompsons weather seal works great also.

My son was diagnosed with leukemia 18 months ago today had his infusion pump off today. Goes in Friday for bone biopsy hope I comes back negative. Father of four it has been a roller coaster ride.

Beautiful garden, thanks for sharing! God's handiwork is always a delight. It's been over 100 degrees in Texas for several days, so most of our flowers are drought resistant, It's fun to see how plants to in Minnesota😁

Amy, I loved the part about the sun garden in Nicholes memory. It truly brought a smile to my face. My late wife, Carole, started a perennial garden, 15 years ago. After her passing, five years ago, I have found peace and relaxation, working on the garden. I have expanded it's size and it contains many of the same plants that your garden has. It's been named as a location on Facebook, and all of our friends look forward to my periodic check-ins, from "Carole's Garden", posting pictures of the colorful blooms.

Hi Amy what a sweet way to remember Nicole.Amy on the Mint just wanted to tell you from experience Mint is invasive. I planted it in my garden and once it get rooted we'll for a season or 2 it takes off ! I found Mint works well in it's own pot where roots can't take hold. Sends out underground runners.The garden looks beautiful dont want you have problems. Mint is a perennial.Can be wintered over in a pot in a green house.But in ground it go crazy.Just don't want you to have spreading issues. 🙏 You and your Family are the sweetest . I bet your other hydrangea is Quick Fire. Pinkie Winkie and Quick Fire are the brand Proven Winners and do so well in the sun. i think the shrub you don't know is a Nine Bark with the dark burgundy leaves. The last little white hydrangea is one of their new cultivars by PW I think but I don't remember the name. It's a sweet garden and perfect choices. Nice to see your vlog today. I've been binge watching a few episodes and it's so much fun.

We had our new lawn seeded in June. Looked beautiful smooth dirt work. Then over 30” of rain since seeding. Lawn will need reseeding and more black dirt this fall.
Your garden is beautiful but there is one plant you will be sorry you planted and that's the mint you should dig it up and plant it in a pot in you garden if not it will be all over and you can't get rid of it it sends shoots underground.

Nice flower garden. On the mums dont cut it back in the fall wait until spring time. once you see green shoots then u can cut it back if you are past your last frost date. When you dont cut it back the dead foliage helps keep the frost from reaching the roots and most of the time it will come back in the spring.
Mint is a garden bully. It spreads more every year and will take over that whole flower bed. If you dig it up and plant it in a pot that helps it stay contained but it can still spread by seed.

The stuff you call oxtail looks like a grass called Timothy in the UK .
No mention of the butterfly milkweed plant. One of the best. Seedling in the fall is the best, now....
My wife always cuts the leaves back on her irises and waters in bone meal in the fall.
Yes, mint tea….spelled ‘julep’. There is a non-alcoholic version 1/2 cup ginger ale, 1/4 cup simple syrup, muddled mint. Serve over ice. Luv yuh.. ❤

Me, again. Pretty sure that unknown shrub is a ninebark. We are zone 2 and grow them as a perennial plant instead of a shrub. If you cut them right back to the ground for winter, they bush out nicely every year.

Hawaiian shirts on old guys, my stepfather wore them everyday.
I'm at least ten years older then Dougo, and refuse to wear them...black or dark blue T-Shirts are the norm for me in our hot climate in SoCal.
