Tip: If you let the rocket troops rank up before you put them in your battle fortress, they will boost your defence. Station 3 or 4 at strategic points in your defence, and you can concentrate on other things :)
That's how I always did it. Plus, an IFV with an engineer inside parked next to them to do auto repairs on the battle fortress when they take damage. That way, as you say, I could give more attention to other things.

no, the engineers still captured the Barracks and Air Force Command Center. if it hadn't been for his quick thinking to pack up the MCV, that would've been captured too.

How does 2 SEALs and 3 Guardian GIs per battle fortress sound?
I dont think that 2 seals will be diffrent from 1. Even 1 seal can destroy mass of infantries. If you ask me, the best combination for BF (if you can capture Yuri mcv) is 1 Virus, 2 GIs and 2 Yuris.
@@zoom3000 that combination is pitiful at taking out war/slave miners though. It also has no anti-air. I like having different Battle Fortresses with different units. I had one with two elite Borises inside. Completely melted tanks on its own.
I hated it when ppl play with fortress and do not put in it upgraded soldier
you need to use prism tanks better and stop targeting buildings. you need to just target the troops/tanks instead of buildings, you do so much more area damage by doing this and can take out an entire base in seconds
really all you need to do is give them the command to stop, and they'll defend the area while also fucking up the base. Manual targetting is great for taking out defences or powerplants, but after those, just let them do their thing.
