This wonderful performance is filled with such imagination. He plays these pieces like he's a story teller who has captured your attention and completely delivers the music's essence.

I love piano cycles and this one, which I’d never heard of in the form of a 19th century Spanish romantic opera, is no exception. The interstitial Scarlatti sonatas are a hoot.(Especially note worthy is k.141 featuring repeated notes.) I had no idea this was a customary practice in the day. The contrasting periods showcase the amazing musicianship of Jean-Francois Dichamp, a true champ for all. ❤️💚💜

In the pandemic time, was very interesting live translation of this Chanel every Friday!
Could be that now is other day? Or other time?
    Thank you very much!

Hello Miguel, the livestreams were a great addition to the channel at a time where most people stayed at home daily. Unfortunately the streams won't return. Never say never, anything can happen in the future, but at the moment it's too time intensive
