Filipe Menezes Please see my long comment to one of the MANY comments you have basically just repeated continuously ... you sound obsessed and even did not understand that even when Diana was alive although she was much to admire besides a pretty face altogether. Nonetheless, still don't understand how people get so obsessed with something like her but even worse trashy pop and movie stars.

@monkeycoolbanananot put it this way: she can't exactly walk out in a mini skirt/scantily dressed because she represents the monarch not just herself. she can show her shoulders and probably does in more private affairs but in public when she knows she is the focal point or will be noticed she keeps it a little more conservative bc its probably easier for her! :)

I only Pray that her experience & past 9 years of grooming for her position will serve her well, protect her, & keep her sane. I also hope that she has the strength to stand up to the paparazzi so that her life is overall a much better one than her late Mother-in-laws! It appears, though that she has a husband who truly does love her;therefore, he will defend her & help navigate her through her life
ohhhh man she doesn't deserve a princess diana ring....its very easy to smile and greet people when you know you have a lot of money,your husband will be the future king of england and you will never actually have to work....diana always met people with a smiling face and helped them even when her own marriage was hitting the rocks,she was always kind i really miss u lady di....!

Filipe Menezes Really? How can you say Princess Charlene is "plastics" and not say anything regarding Kate Middleton. She is not everyone's "new princess of the world". Definatelty not mine. It would take a goddess to "replace" Princess Diana and even then that wouldn't be possible because Diana was THE goddess. Anybody average and even ugly woman with the funds Kate has access to (especially after the year 2000) can look good. Kate not only has access to high dollar designer clothing and designers, designers opinions and experienced people coaching her on how to dress, jewels etc but also high dollar and end make up, high end face serums, washes, hair, aging products etc. Access to facials, spas, quality skin treatment and regime, botox, restyln, etc and one of her *favs* high dollar spray tans which even a low end spray tan can make you glow like the sun during the day and the moon at night. She gets a heavy amount of botox (i use to work with Botox and the like so I know...) and either Restyln or similar to cheeks and lips. Has someone styling, dying and managing her hair and treatments and looks like extensions as well. Now with all this said... I am quite sure I have left out quite a bit. However, looking good does not make her the new "world's princess". She will never be Diana or even come close to a Diana.
Diana was naturally beautiful and sexy, sophisticated, elegant and gorgeous all at the same time. She was a Humanitarian and worked her butt off as a royal even during her crisis with Charles. She was strong woman and fought back when Charles treated her to the dirt. She was a 19 yo woman if that that was basically thrown at Charles like a pawn to please the people. And Please the people she did but not by any help of Charles. What savage of a man would do that and humilate his wife like that. Even after she pleaded and begged. Even after she vote the man 2 young boys , HEIRS to the throne. Diana was smart, clever and genuine. Her smile was Genuine. Kate is absolutely FAKE. I am sorry , I understand you must look your best and smile for the camera constantly but cmon. Her huge fake grin gives her no credit. Diana embarked on her own mission and that was to work with AIDS children. And this was back then when there was not much information about AIDS and people were afraid to touch the person. And through all that, she was fighting her own battle, and a public humiliating one at that. Imagine being thrown into that world at 19, young dreams and she went on with her heart only to find out his was closed. Actually, no, he did not have a heart. What kind of decent human being would do that to his wife, the mother of His children and his children. Anyhow, Diana was the true definition of strength. Anyone can say they are strong, or act like they are feisty or make their self heard but that does not equal to a strong woman.Diana was that definition and the Queen couldn't stand it. Diana didn't just sit there and take it anymore . She fought back. And when she finally became "free" she lived her life the way Charles treated her . She lived with passion though. She was absolutely a passionate, strong, smart, beautiful, caring, hard working, genuine and amazing woman. Kate will never amount to Diana nor will she ever be the people's "world princess" or whatever. Kate gets the attention because she chased after William for 8 years and finally married him and become the bride of the heir. Of course, Charles isn't going to get the attention anymore not only because of his age but also because of what he did to Diana and then married the mistress that destroyed their marriage. Harry hasn't settled down but you can bet when he does that bride will get attention too... William and Kate Middletons's marriage is basically looked at as a "love" story fantasy but I am quite sure their is not any true love for William on Kate's part. She chased after castles, tiaras, Diana's ring (whom in my opinion does not deaerve but that's none of my business), fame, royalty, never having to work, and bearing a child that will also be heir... She didn't chase the man. She chased Williams title and what it came with. In my opinion, that isn't a fairytale. And I would be more willing to accept that fact and her if she actually appeared genuine and caring or if she actually appeared like she was going to do something credible with her position or do soemtbing else, anything ... besides look good. Sorry, for the huge long rant.
Honestly, she didn't even deserve this essay but just have seen some comments here and there where people actually consider her Even remotely comparable to Diana as if the ONLY thing to compare is BEAUTY. There was a lot more to Diana than her NATURAL Beauty and elegance but even just in that department she FAR, FAR, FAR EXCEEDS Kate Middleton. Lets look PAST their images and define them by more than their projection. And you have to go a little deeper and use your own brain to see past all the media and the royals projecting what they want everyone to think. There is more to that fantasy land they live in. Because looking past all their make up, designer clothes, tiaras and castles they still have to walk in the door and look in the mirror at theirself and know they have to be someone else for everyone else and can't be the person for their self, if that makes sense. The public basically owns them and behind all the fame and glamour their is a empty feeling that I am quite sure that many of them experience, without doubt Kate does. Anyhow, Kate is no comparison to Diana nor is she the "world's princess". She only gets the attention any young woman would that married the future king.
