All I have to say is read the book (Ordinary Men) by Christopher Browning to realize a more objective, historical comprehensive realization concerning the 101 Order Police! Military History has clearly not read this extremely well researched piece of narrative. If you take the time to read it, i can assure you, it will not only shock you, but will open your eyes to the the psychology of human behaviour.

Not if it's wrong and unjustified. Many of these Nazi's were captured and tried and hanged for their crimes because they did what they had to do.
This is actually kind of incorrect. They didnt opt in because they were afraid of being called cowards, (kind of they did) but they believed this to be a job that HAD to be done, and they were taking one for the team. They had a great sense of self pity that they were dong this for their country. It was an unpleasant task obviously… but if they didnt do it, then they were leaving it to their peers, and fellow soldiers. Those who opted OUT were literally leaving it to their comrades. As if they didnt want to do this unpleasant task…. So leaving it to others to do. Much like clean up a mess….. so that was definately the case. (If you are listening to this topic, you must listen to hitler youth podcast and educate yourself. … as it really goes hand in hand. One cannot really be discussed without the other imo.
