The most expensive smelling perfume to me is Elixir Pour Femme Essence from Roja. But my most (actual) expensive perfume is BR540 Extrait coming in at $435.
Bond No. 9 Tribeca and Greenwich Village, prob cause they ARE the most expensive in my collection lol so they better smell expensive 😆

Ilythia I like the way you curate a small collection of fragrances and put them together in the frame at the end when you summarize the round up. The visual is very beautiful and helpful. BTW I also like Gris Charnel sometimes and am turned off by it sometimes. I like the top notes better than the drydown.
I enjoyed watching the perfume tray fill up as you went through the perfumes.

Just like you, every time I heard someone talk about 51 perfume, I got a feeling that I would love it, so I decided to get Dua’s version of 51 and I’m looking forward to smelling it when I get it soon.😍 Dua also has Loubirouge version, however since it is my first time ordering from Dua, I decided to wait until I know that I like their perfumes.

Hi Ilythia, just watched your review! Baccarat 540 & Extrait is a lifer for me along with Xerjoff Ideale Bouquet! I had the same experience with Tabit. Although I purchased Tabit from a discount site, I thought it may have been that. It has a muskiness to it I just can’t overcome. I haven’t tried anymore from their house just because of that! Everyone raves about it but I really didn’t like at all. If you haven’t and can ever get your nose on Guerlain Gourmand Coquin, that is a gorgeous scent!!!
Hi llythia, thank you so much for your videos, they are very informative and spot on. I’m looking for very soft, creamy and cozy sandalwood fragrance. I’ve already tried Santal complet and gris charnel and really like Gris charnel but just like you said it’s little masculine for me with those spices on top but I love the dry down. How would you compare it to santal blanc, seems like notes are similar. Would you say it’s more feminine but still creamy and cozy? Which one would you pick?

I love Loubirouge as well. It is a safe blind buy. All of them in that line are good. I wear Loubidoo and Loubifunk together and they are magic (although some might find them a bit screechy or strong)
I need to smell the rest of the line!

Santal complet is way sweeter! Gris charnel is better but longevity is not great
Oof that’s a hard one 😆….. I honestly can’t say 😱. The Santal is more feminine, but gris is just one of a kind. Sorry I’m not much help!!!

I am noticing that ones with musk have this weird quality that gives me a headache too - actually a bit more nauseous. Good girl, alien, even delina have this same weird smell that i ‘think’ is the musk
I have smelled baccarat Rouge at baby showers and seafood restaurants. It's way too popular at this point. Everyone is either wearing it or something that smells like it.
I have that same issue with Tiziana Terenzi fragrances I love the scents but headache inducing and synthetic smelling. Same for Mancera and Montale for me it's the heliotropes and aldehydes I stay away from them.

Santal Complet is beautiful but it smells like maple syrup on me that I can't handle. Love the Sandalwood

That one actually doesn’t; it’s very similar to hypnotic poison though so I don’t know if it’s necessary to have both:)
I used to own Kirke and it was wonderfull but it also gave me a headache unfortunately ended up giving it to my mother as she did not have this problem

Omg! I have the same issue with the Terenzis. I have been contemplating selling my bottle. I try and try to enjoy, but there is a note that calls my migraines. Argh.
I thought I was alone in feeling the exact same was about Tabit!! The opening is ok on me but after about 30 min whatever that is starts to come out and I cannot stand it 😵💫 I wanted to love it, but I tried several times and it’s def a no for me!!
I’m almost totally anosmic to BR540. On the tester strip I definitely can’t smell it. On my skin, it smells like something burnt and watery. Not at all what people describe. It might be the saffron? I can’t taste saffron much either tbh.
My most expensive perfume is Aventus for her. Sooo ridiculous expensive. Next is Baccarat EDP and Delina exclusive.
Im not into ROJA they are just TO expensive and nowhere to test them out 😊
Agree with tabit notes sound like a dream but the perfume itself feels like it has none of those notes at all.

I also struggle with Kirke. It’s almost a metallic smell that’s hidden deep in there to me.
Have you tried Nest Indigo? I feel like I recall you trying it in the past, but it features fig and cardamom as well as tea and bergamot and it's one of my absolute favorites! It's like the cozy expensive scents you mention here but make them like a warm summer night! That's the vibe it gives me at least. I adore it.
Between Santal Complet and Santal Blanc which one do you prefer?

Smelled all Roja essence perfumes and they are indeed very well blended, but to me they all smelled like you need to be at least in your 40s to like this. It s not a fragrance for young women in my opinion
I think fig and oak moss make a fragrance smell expensive.
Ilythia - how do you find projection and longevity of roja 51 essence ?
Not weak but not beast on my skin: I need to give it some more time on clothing:)

I guess it depends on the fragrance. So far I haven't smelled any that are what I would say beast mode. the 51 I could smell for quite a while especially on clothing :)
I didn’t like 51, I had high expectations, but it wasn’t for me. It’s smell like any floral perfume, and I don’t like floral
