I used to have nightmares only thinking about the B tension spring. Stumbled across this video when servicing a 105 rd and what can I say. You're genius with that 2.5 hex key idea! The clip was locked in before I couldn't even think "trouble". Thx so much for this!
We need a fix for the sloppy parallelogram cage holes if we all plan to keep using these in the future

Hi, no I haven’t tried. Chances are, yes it is, judging by the diagrams. Without measurements, it is hard to confirm. Typically though, from the same period, cages can be made to work. I wouldn’t bother though, unless you have free way to test it
