Their choreo used to be simple because the 4 of them choreographed all of their stuff and they wanted it simple so moomoo could follow along in the crowd. I see from their choreographies that they are not the best dancers (or the choreos are just too easy from them) but their performance shines through experience. I think what they do is excellent for them and it's really refreshing to see a group not tryharding every aspect humanly possible. (It shows that they enjoy it!)
There was a comment in MAMAMOO's live performances that MAMAMOO is a woman group not a girl group. I think that describes best MAMAMOO and their relaxed crib on these songs. I love their dynamic teamwork because of it.

@@idkok11 they used to choreograph their songs earlier when they didn't have much budget I've heard. For Hip, Dingga and Gogobebe (and probably more) they had choreographers. Plus, they're a vocal group so their focal point has always been their exceptional singing and stage presence, not a hard choreo. They never needed heavy props or an extreme dance routine to cover up their vocal flaws like a lot of idols do.

Hwasa's case was actually pure fake news spread by antis, Nigerian people came out in favor of Hwasa and said that although her outfit looked African because of the print, it wasn't, and in fact she was just trying to recreate a sauna look that she used in a program, a luxurious version and that surprised people, she never said that she wanted to scare anyone, it was a translation error made by an anti, and because of this false news she is still persecuted. I know she made other mistakes, but most were out of sheer ignorance, without bad intentions, but they don’t care about the context and attack anyway, n word was completely accidental, the fault of the radio that gave her the lyrics to read, since she didn’t is fluent in English. But she never did anything wrong again, acknowledged her mistakes and apologized, her greatest musical evidence is Beyoncé and Rihanna, and suddenly they are creating false ones in order to harm her, it is sad.

Don't get me wrong, moomoos know moonbyul is a good dancer. She could dance the way Lia Kim choreographed it but she has her own flair and it is a testament how strong of a character each member has.
I would say Byul's moves are a bit slurred/fluid than the original choreo, that's the vibe I get from her. The "I don't care" could use a little better phrasing but I understand what you mean. Whereas Whee's movements are a lot sharper, Byul's are more fluid. Hope that makes sense.

Every mamamoo song is my favorite.
I feel like Mamamoo made me realize how important expressions and charisma is when it comes to dancing. Whatever Solar or Hwasa lack in terms of skills, they make up for in this department. They attract just as much attention as Wheein or Moonbyul(both of whom seem to have much cleaner and more precise moves), if not more.
