Nice review Alex the mous case intra lock looks fabulous and clips on very easy. The side grips looks great on the case but it’s a pity they don’t do this for the i phone 12 as well . Fingers crossed for 17k 🙏😎🇮🇪

One of the deal breakers for me was that my current phone holder had card slots which I was not keen to give up but guess what.....Mous have a Magsafe slip on version for the Evolution case when out of the vehicles. Hello. Is a good review overall and thanks for introducing the Mous system never heard or seen of it before . However , I do have a full quad lock system which initially I bought for my motorbike . Then I bought the accessories for the car . So I now have a set up that covers 2 motorbikes and 1 car . And soon I’ll Expand it to a road race bike and a mountain bike . From my experience I haven’t had half or any of the issues or complaints you have of the quad lock system. I have the case which is very robust having dropped my phone numerous times . Never slips on my hand even with gloves . And goes on to and off the mounts in a jiffy . ( but I do agree it takes a knack which didn’t take me more than a few attempt to perfect) . At one point I thought your review was becoming quite biased against quadlock but then you covered yourself in that later . It goes to say that not everyone will have the same issues you face with the quadlock and for some, the quadlock offers a lot of versatility and flexibility than another system. Me, am perfectly happy with the quadlock and it suits me very well. But back to the start. A good review and good effort to show two systems.

Admittedly my focus on the convenience of not having to remove the case may be down to a personal preference. I was genuinely impressed though at how easy the Intralock is to use from the get go, given it's from a fairly new player in this area. The other advantage the Quadlock has is the fact it supports Android. Many comments here refer to that being a problem with Intralock... @@AlexGTech Looks like Mous now supports a range of Android phones including the Pixel 7/Pro. I've been using a Quad Lock system on my two bikes, but with this support, I do want to give Mous a try. Where's the money I need? lol
Mous is a great phone case but when you stick a tempered glass the raised lip is not as good as Quad lock i.e. only at top and bottom and I have cracked tempered glass on multiple occasion. Quad lock has better protection with regards to protecting your front glass.
Nice review! Sure the mous mechanism is probably way easier to use but I can't help wondering: There are a few obvious holes in the case. How much dust and debris from your pockets did you get after using inside the case? Watched a couple reviews and nobody touched on this topic 🤔 When I take the case off my phone, there is always some dust underneath and this one doesn't even have any holes.
Hi there - I’ve been using the case even when. It using the mount because I like the grip sides and it’s actually a comfy case to use. I did mention the debris point around 7:30 in the video. So far it’s pretty good. I probably need a macro lens to show but the holes are not just standard cutouts, they are angled and the grippy rubberised back of the case seems to be doing a great job at stopping dust coming in. Of course if your drop the case in sand or mud that area is probably going to get some debris but I don’t see how it would get into the phone as it’s fairly tight
I did order it during the black friday promo after watching this review - time to switch to Mous and hopefully they'll bring a wireless charging adapter like Quadlock's in the future!
I have the quad lock and iPhone 13 max case and can confirm it is a bit of a pain to get the case onto the mount, even after a year of use. Will look to get the Mous mount and case next time.
I saw this featured on Berm Peak and was curious because I've been using Quadlock for years and as much as I like the product, I'm not a fan of the case. Rokfrom made a similar product which I liked however their stem mount was not compatible with my Cannanondale Topstone. Unfortunately, I had to go back to Quadlock. The Mous IntraLock does not even have a stem mount. But, if they ever design a stem mount similar to the Quadlock, I'm definitely making the switch.

I just switched back to Quad Lock from the Peak Design mount. Why? Their wireless weatherproof charging mount add-on lets me keep my phone charged on the bike. At first glance, it looked like Mous included an on-bike charger, but they don’t. It’s just a desk charging puck :( So close, but not quite there yet for my need.

Hi there, check 5:00 where I asked my 9 year old to try himself. So even with a small kid hands it was possible to attach and remove, the triggers are quite soft to press. I personally thought it was really easy. much easier in fact than twisting and pushing the QuadLock. If you watch also the bit where I do this one handed, whilst riding! Yes, it was pretty easy for me.
Never hear of Quadlock in my years of using a iphone to my bike, i use to use topeak, its bada$$ but sadly they stopped making cases for iphone 12 and 13 however after using the mous case, there design is won my rating and its magsafe style, i ride hard so i can take a look at those stuff and tell which will fit the bill and the mous is definitely bad a$$ mine is coming soon. topeak i use to use one hand to take the phone out, mous push springs shows its faster than all of them. again mous wins... and there case is also magsafe, if its not magsafe im not going to use it. your the man and your review is spot on. As for the holes at the back of the case I see no problem with that, its good it has holes as if water ever get down behind the iphone it will dry faster, the iphone is water resistant now so no need for plastic bags and other over the phone garbage, this is a well though out design as far as I can tell, but ill still take my phone out of the case after a wet ride and wipe dry it afterwards.

Hi there. It won't tilt. The only thing you can do is unclip it, and turn the phone horizontal or vertical and clip it in again. To adjsut the angles you'd have to adjust the mount itself
Your review convinced me I should order the Mous option instead, just went to the website to do so and it's not even an option for me with a flagship Galaxy phone. Great product but they need to expand the case range.

I was really hoping for an real review and comparison. But to me, this really felt like a commercial for Mous' products. The difficulty mounting the Quadlock was exaggerated. His crash was obviously fake. And there was not a demonstration regarding how solid Mous holds the phone in place. When I bought the quadlock system, my first impression of the Quadlock case was that the protection did seem to be lacking. But I have been using it for nearly two years, and have never had an issue. And I am NOT soft on my phone. I crash a lot on my bike (Haha), and I frequently drop it off my lap when gearing out of my car. I'm not sayong to buy Quadlock. I'm just saying I would not base my decision on this video.
Hey Chris, sorry you felt that way but it’s fine I don’t mind. I do say I’m biased toward Mous products as I’ve been a customer way before doing these videos and really trust them. I have no issues in saying that. I did genuinely fall off my bike though. I was annoyed I didn’t have a better angle of it and only my GoPro captured it 😂 And to me (I never used either product so wanted to try both equally) Mous did seem genuinely easier to use and the case is actually more useful even when not mounted. The quadLock case to me felt like an after thought. But hey it’s CZcams and I’m just a guy in the internet, not forcing anyone to listen to me 😂 have a good one

So many bike mount reviews are for people who want to >look< at their phone. I needed one for shooting my ride. This may be one of them. Issue is with many of them that the mount is getting in the way of the camera lens. If you want to post "Best mounts for taping your ride" type videos. Hit me up in comments on this post. I was on the Mous website and found out that they now have a product called ‘Evolution Cycle - Action Cam Kit’ with the Intralock case and bike mount plus a camera connector.
I am using quadlock case for a year now, and i can tell you the case is extremely good in drop protection. Had dropped the phone numerous times with no issues with my phone whatsoever. It would be a lie for you to say the protection in Quadlock cases are almost non-existent.
I would love a comparison between the mous intralock and peak design everyday bike mount and case. I want to get the mous but they unfortunately didn’t make a intralock case for my iPhone 12 pro max (which is strange i think) I looked at the peak design but it was a bit expensive and wonder if the case will give similar protection as the mous case.
Yes I believe they’re working on new devices and I hope the 12 is included as it’s still a very popular phone. I love peak design stuff so might give them a go, great suggestion!
I prefer a mount where I can use any case, which is why I like Tackform. And since they just use a spring loaded, rubber cushioned jaw, there is no fiddling around with trying to mount your phone like there is with the Quad Lock. Easy in, easy out. Also it's not cheap looking like the Quad Lock.
@@briteidea08 does it effect wireless charging? I looked long and hard at phone mounts for motorcycles, and I went with a perch mount Tackform on my Harley Road Glide Ultra. I don't really like handlebar mounts because they can scratch up your handlebars.
@@dh2392 unfortunately I cannot answer that truthfully. Never used wireless charging. Mostly used Quad Lock when I was cycling regularly. Also purchased the ball mount to use with my Ram mounting system. When in the car or truck.

I'm literally in the market for a new bike mount. I was going to go with QuadLock because it seems to be the best currently available. Even if it meant other compromises. Now I don't have to compromise. It's just that I need 4 or more cycle mounts for all my bikes and the online store doesn't have the option to purchase them separately.

I used the mous case/bike mount and on a ride I hit a bump and the case flew off! Luckily I had a screen protector on and that cracked but the screen was fine.
will standard, usual wireless chargers work on mous? That ability has stopped me from buying the quadlock. it renders my wireless power banks and table top chargers useless.

Not a bad review, but not what I was looking for. Would've liked more measurements. An actual comparison in the number of accessories are available, prices. How good was the vibration dampening, etc etc. Also, the 15% off doesn't help.

It's a sponsored video. Raves about the Intralock. Has issues with the Quad Lock. An experienced veteran bicycle rider "falls off bike" while basically standing still (says it was slippery but ground was completely dry). Looks suspiciously staged. I'd be perfectly willing to admit the Mous Intralock may be the better system but c'mon, no need to fake some of the testing.
I really wouldn't trust those small clips that are supposed to hold my phone. They look very cheap and thin. Designwise, Quadlock is by far more superior.

You actually put me off this system because you are so one sided. You say the Quadlock case is slippery, what absolute garbage. Ive had one since the S21 Ultra came out and its never once slipped from my grasp, or slipped at all. I also dont like the way you have to reach around and press the catch to release the phone. With limited mobility that would be impossible for me. I do agree that the attaching of the IntraLock is vastly superior, many times I have been messing around trying to attach the quadlock, especially to my motorbike antivibration mount setup.

Hi there. I am definitely biased towards Mous. If you check my channel you will find lots of Mous videos. But they do not sponsor me, they never paid for a review. As far as I know they don't pay creators for reviews (I could be wrong). i got this idea of qoud lock type car mount about 10 year back but could not execute

Just a question about the quad lock. Can you tilt it to record a video with your phone?
Hi there. It won't tilt. The only thing you can do is unclip it, and turn the phone horizontal or vertical and clip it in again. To adjsut the angles you'd have to adjust the mount itself
Can the mous intralock be mounted “backwards” like the quad lock so the phone sits over the stem?
Yes, it can be mounted both ways, and the phone can be moved clock and anti-clockwise 🔄
Your review convinced me I should order the Mous option instead, just went to the website to do so and it's not even an option for me with a flagship Galaxy phone. Great product but they need to expand the case range.

I was really hoping for an real review and comparison. But to me, this really felt like a commercial for Mous' products. The difficulty mounting the Quadlock was exaggerated. His crash was obviously fake. And there was not a demonstration regarding how solid Mous holds the phone in place.
When I bought the quadlock system, my first impression of the Quadlock case was that the protection did seem to be lacking. But I have been using it for nearly two years, and have never had an issue. And I am NOT soft on my phone. I crash a lot on my bike (Haha), and I frequently drop it off my lap when gearing out of my car. I'm not sayong to buy Quadlock. I'm just saying I would not base my decision on this video.
Hey Chris, sorry you felt that way but it’s fine I don’t mind. I do say I’m biased toward Mous products as I’ve been a customer way before doing these videos and really trust them. I have no issues in saying that.
I did genuinely fall off my bike though. I was annoyed I didn’t have a better angle of it and only my GoPro captured it 😂
And to me (I never used either product so wanted to try both equally) Mous did seem genuinely easier to use and the case is actually more useful even when not mounted. The quadLock case to me felt like an after thought.

So many bike mount reviews are for people who want to >look< at their phone. I needed one for shooting my ride. This may be one of them. I was on the Mous website and found out that they now have a product called ‘Evolution Cycle - Action Cam Kit’ with the Intralock case and bike mount plus a camera connector.
I am using quadlock case for a year now, and i can tell you the case is extremely good in drop protection. Had dropped the phone numerous times with no issues with my phone whatsoever. It would be a lie for you to say the protection in Quadlock cases are almost non-existent.
@@happydogg312 Yes it has. I have both the normal quadlock and the mag quadlock case. No issues with drop protection.
I would love a comparison between the mous intralock and peak design everyday bike mount and case. I want to get the mous but they unfortunately didn’t make a intralock case for my iPhone 12 pro max (which is strange i think)
I looked at the peak design but it was a bit expensive and wonder if the case will give similar protection as the mous case.
Yes I believe they’re working on new devices and I hope the 12 is included as it’s still a very popular phone. I love peak design stuff so might give them a go, great suggestion!

I prefer a mount where I can use any case, which is why I like Tackform. And since they just use a spring loaded, rubber cushioned jaw, there is no fiddling around with trying to mount your phone like there is with the Quad Lock. Easy in, easy out. Also it's not cheap looking like the Quad Lock.
Quad Lock has an adhesive adapter. Stick it on almost anything. I have one on my pelican case. Been using it for over a year.
@@briteidea08 does it effect wireless charging? I looked long and hard at phone mounts for motorcycles, and I went with a perch mount Tackform on my Harley Road Glide Ultra. I don't really like handlebar mounts because they can scratch up your handlebars.
@@dh2392 unfortunately I cannot answer that truthfully. Never used wireless charging. Mostly used Quad Lock when I was cycling regularly. Also purchased the ball mount to use with my Ram mounting system. When in the car or truck.

I'm literally in the market for a new bike mount. I was going to go with QuadLock because it seems to be the best currently available. Even if it meant other compromises. Now I don't have to compromise. It's just that I need 4 or more cycle mounts for all my bikes and the online store doesn't have the option to purchase them separately.

I used the mous case/bike mount and on a ride I hit a bump and the case flew off! Luckily I had a screen protector on and that cracked but the screen was fine.
will standard, usual wireless chargers work on mous? That ability has stopped me from buying the quadlock. it renders my wireless power banks and table top chargers useless.
HI Honorio, it will definitely work with MagSafe and power banks, let me just do a quick test though on standard Qi wireless chargers and let you know.

Not a bad review, but not what I was looking for. Would've liked more measurements. An actual comparison in the number of accessories are available, prices. How good was the vibration dampening, etc etc.

It's a sponsored video. Raves about the Intralock. Has issues with the Quad Lock. An experienced veteran bicycle rider "falls off bike" while basically standing still (says it was slippery but ground was completely dry). Looks suspiciously staged.
I'd be perfectly willing to admit the Mous Intralock may be the better system but c'mon, no need to fake some of the testing.

You actually put me off this system because you are so one sided. You say the Quadlock case is slippery, what absolute garbage. Ive had one since the S21 Ultra came out and its never once slipped from my grasp, or slipped at all. I also dont like the way you have to reach around and press the catch to release the phone. With limited mobility that would be impossible for me. I do agree that the attaching of the IntraLock is vastly superior, many times I have been messing around trying to attach the quadlock, especially to my motorbike antivibration mount setup.
