It makes sense because jazz was in diving posture and cliff's body was wide open therefore air resistance was high on him.

I believe Arcee was a model and before Fall of Cybertron get it online thing back fans was confused who was that picture Elita-One or Arcee. If it is Elita she will kill some Velicons *I don't want hear them talking about everything and mad jeez.* and if was Arcee will you know.
The reason why they don't have jazz and cliffjumper aren't in the transformers shows is that they will die in there first episode
