really cool truck, although I don't really see the point of the rubber ducky, lol. as versatile as this kind of truck is, I can see it being an off-road Amazon delivery truck, a 4x4 fire truck, a tow truck, even an ambulance or a police truck.

So do you need a mobile app to control it? That seems like a shame cause apps eventually go, but Lego stays and after the app is gone you won't be able to use the model

thats not correct, because the app will still be on your phone, and you can use 3rd party apps like brick controller2, the sbrick app etc.
