Just reminded me of 3 Kings celebrations in Benicassim. Sometimes the Kings came from the sea. The Spanish always know how to put on a parade it puts us to shame in UK and its actually all based on religion which is great.

Wow again. What a beautiful village/ town that was and to see the festival in full swing was incredible, they had such big bags of sweets etc. there were so many people but I’m sure watching it was so incredible.

They are seville oranges (thats the variety name) and these are bitter oranges which are what brits use to make marmalade. Thats what gives the tang in a british marmalade. Note spanish use sweet oranges.

Hi Rob & Lynn ,Happy Holidays in Saville & hoped you really enjoyed the 3 Kings parade as I they delivered gold, frankincense and mere to the new born king on Christmas day in the stable who lay in the manger. Now they deliver sweets, toys and confetti to the children in the crowd waiting for the procession to pass as Rob got decked by sweets. What an amazing parade never seen anything like that, there was a carnival in Benidorm when I was there in the early 80s it's just another world, people seem more friendly you just don't get these celebration's over in the UK..looking forward to seeing some rural France. Safe journey.
