Fresh from the live.. J & L would make a beautiful family homestead. I'd be sad to not see the beautiful LHL property but it's understandable why you'd consider putting it up for sale now that you've been there long enough to figure out its just not going to suit all of your needs for the animals. Not to mention the erosion on the cliff side that's going to run into the pastures eventually. You don't know what you don't know, some things can only be learned over time when it comes to properties. There’s never a dull moment when animals are involved. Sadie is amazing with the way she stays around the Longhorns and protects them if needed. She loves her breaks from her duties when she gets in the camper and spends time with you and Jami.
I'm soooooo happy Lester didn't listen to the P-PATS who were giving him trouble when he was thinking of moving her there! I hoped he would do it and he did! Sadie seems so much more at peace and happier at J&L

Lester, the first plant you showed in the pasture my plant app called Picture This, identified as Peppervine, also known as Cow itch vine and produces purple Grape-like berries that taste peppery hot. The second plant is called Green Milkweed, which is a host plant of monarch butterflies, which lay their eggs on the plane’s leaves. I’m glad you were there to greet Mr Brian from the utility company. And, you just made his day!😂

Mystery weed looks like a trumpet vine. Great for butterflies and humming birds. They spread by runners under the ground. My late husband and i planted one in the yard when we got married. I'll find little shoots like that up to 100ft away from it if i get lazy mowing. the other plant you showed with the big bunny ear levees looks like milkweed. monarch butterflies use these to lay eggs and the caterpillars eat for food. Milkweed is toxic and can definitely cause the issues you described.

You can get an app on your phone that you take a picture of a plant and it will identify it for you. Amazing. It might come in handy for identifying weeds in the pastures or in the pond.
I find the way your so friendly to everyone endearing. I have a sister that has never met a stranger. She will talk to anyone. My mother-in-law was the same way. ..I am to shy, I have to get to know someone first. I am friendly, smile at everyone but most have to talk to me first....😊❤😊
My brother in-law and I went to a junk store today and I started talking with an older gentleman that found a soft pair of fluffy purple socks. He said they would feel good on his feet. I have one of those faces, people talk to me all the time. I can start a conversation with strangers too. Most of the time it is in line waiting to pay. Not this time, we walked to the men's clothing and the kind man was there looking too. He must have been from NY and very Italian.

Longhorn Lester is a magician folks!. Most ranchers Barely make it work with the current model but Lester seems to manage Without doing the most profitable aspect Of turning it into food.. quite impressive!
Lester, with all the weeds and volunteer Tallow trees back there, you might want to ask Richardson Ag if they have an animal & people safe weed killer and if so, if they could hook you up with a large quantity and some kind of way to disperse it in bulk like you grass seed the pastures in bulk. I know it wouldn't be the same method as used in dispersing grass seed, but, there may be a way to treat large sections of land at one time so you wouldn't have to walk all of your property individually treating each weed. Also, I'd wear your long sleeve blue shirt that wicks sweat away when you mow again and wear long pants. You might also consider wearing a mask, not an N95, but like a lighter and less bulky surgical mask when you mow. You could try wearing one of your Ima Survivor masks to see if that would work, if that is lighter to wear in the heat. I have asthma and bad allergies in the spring, summer, and fall and so whenever I used to take my dog for walks, I would have to wear a mask or I'd start into a really bad asthma attack and have bad asthma attacks later on in the day and evening too. I know having to wear long pants and a mask would be extra hot on a hot day, but, maybe you can find a very lightweight style of pants to wear that is 100% cotton or a moisture wicking pant made with material like in your baby blue shirt (the one that looks so good with your eyes. lol)

The plant with bloom is milkweed. It doesn't have anything that would give you a rash. I grow alot of it for my butterfly garden. 🦋

Even a bandana worn like an outlaw over your nose may help keep the pollen and dirt out. What I always used in the hayfield.
