Actually when I began to subscribe British and American CZcams channels since Christmas 2019 . Some said to me I must use full stop and comma in my writing and without putting punctuation, my writing will be unreadable. Even in kindergarten you teach kids punctuation. Iam Arabic lady but honestly I learned so many things as foreigners subscribers as overseas students want to increase our cultural level and improve our English as well. Comma is so confusing because there are many rules for using them , also became comma usage varies by style . Comma use to separate two sentences it will help avoid confusion. Complex sentence begins with decent adverb clause , comma is used to separate two clauses.

I'm a staunch defender of the mighty oxford comma. But it is optional. That's how it got its own name ;)
