This is a quick start guide for Juri's Super art 2, Feng Shui Engine. This is the first Feng Shui Engine guide out there. We'll be going over damage numbers, combo routes, and swaggy combos that really are just flash and trash. By the end of this, you should have a firm understanding of what routes to go to, and how to control her in this hectic Super Art. I'll have more videos about Juri in time for the beta, so check them out!

Didn't get into either beta, but I loved labbing with her in SFV so I can piece things together from what I see others do. People keep saying she doesn't do damage, but it's clearly a case of unoptimal starters and scaling, so I really enjoyed watching someone who gets that and showed the most useful stuff right from the start! This was exactly the kind of content I was looking for, thanks dude!

Do u use a stick or a hitbox? i dont know why is so hard for me with the hitbox.
Hit box. Make sure you’re getting a clean input. Most people hit the attack button to confirm fse after you release the diagonal input. That’s usually the issue.
But fyi. This is hard for me to. Just keep at it

I LOVE feng shui engine because then she basically becomes a skullgirls character and that was my first fighting game, so it just feels so natural having the ability to air combo my opponent

Glad to see you touched on the DR Overhead potential when mixed with level 2. Surprised you didn't mention how from any Level 2 Heavy cancel you can link into OD stock Mk for a bounce that you'd normally only get off OD stock HK in OD Mk. Running through my own old beta footage lately and realizing how much I missed out on trying.
When the game comes out gonna be spending a LOT of time in the lab.
Juri by herself DR, Level 2 and different stock uses seems like a LOT to study and remember. Almost like it's own college course.

I believe only if you were to shk shp goohsatsu > dp in the corner. It may be ex dp

I understand the scaling and getting optimal paths for the normals as to get the most damage and keep the most amount of you engine, but the styling on combos is just so fun I need MORE HITS

Oh btw, after Go Ohsatsu from any stHK xx stHP string, you can squeeze in an H Tensenrin. That’s with both stocked or unstocked Go Ohsatsu, and the best part is, it works midscreen!

This is an incredible vidoe, might be a cool idea if you put all the "Optimal Combos" in one video and have the combination on screen, and title it "SF6, Juri Feng Shui, Optimal combos". this would be great for intermediate players, and with release a week away, im sure you'll get heaps of views with it.

Shame I didn't find this yesterday when I had a chance to play the Beta at a friend's. SF6 is going to be my return to SF since base SF4 and while I dabbled in playing Juri there, I'm going to be proud to call myself a Juri main. Hope it goes better than my Millia in GGST experiment.

Nice video! To be honest during my time streaming SF6 beta I didn't really utilize the Feng Shui Engine at all, my gameplan was pretty simple. I basically try to load up a fuha stock and fish hitconfirm to my only BnB I learned. Since Im new to the Street Fighter franchise I'm not used to the movement and gameplay yet.
That’s a solid game plan! You’ll expand on it with time, but don’t force yourself to get your stock. This may leave you open. Try and play without your stock and use a combo route that gives you a stock 🙏

Jump medium punch into dive kick after launcher doesn’t work on Cammy at all. Found that jumping mp my dive kick does chain and does exact amount of damage with easier link to dive kick. I am only 1 week into sf6 and reached gold 3 rank thanks to your videos. I am loyal to Juri and your content keep it up 👍

Thanks for the guide. Really helpful. I'm just wondering what the answer is when they try to parry the middle of your strings? Do you stop your combo to grab them or is there another answer in response to a successful parry?
Typically if they parry in the middle of your string successfully they're safe. If you strike they can keep parrying, or block. If you throw, they can tech the throw. If the parry whiffs, throws punish. An idea is to treat parries like a block and just continue your (safe) string and then just return to neutral. But if throws an option, i'd do that.

In the environmental settings there’s an option for “character specific settings”

Give it time. SF5 evolved to a really good game. SF6 looks great from the start and (hopefully) will only get better! And I'm glad you found me again!
For FSE - Why ever end a combo with DP HP over QCF HK? Same DMG, QCF HK has more advantage and lands you closer for OKI. I could be mistaken but what am I missing?
I used it as a base for fuhaless and meterless damage. In the video I mentioned adding meter or fuha would increase the damage
Any tips on activating feng shui I struggle getting the input out fast enough after down medium kick it’s impossible.
I have the same issue. Focused practice. Take your time and making sure you’re hitting the input cleanly. In the training room you can turn the game speed to 50% and do the input slowly. It’s tedious but take 2 steps back and jump forward!

That’s the hardest part. You have more time than you think to cancel cmp to fse. Slow down the input for her level 2 and focus on doing the input cleanly
How do you keep your level 2 super up infinitely in training mode? I tried finding it in the settings, but I haven't spotted it.

Seems like the combo at 9:21 isn't possible anymore in the full release. Unless I'm getting the timing wrong for the divekick after the HK, but it seems like the only option that combos now is MK to divekick. At least from the center of the stage
Yea theres something different about some of the air confirms. I realized it when I was playing earlier.
I want to play a lot with Juri she's mainly the reason I want to buy the game but this is all kinda hard to understand for me, since I am almost a newbie on fighting games but it's helpful.

After EX-Dive Kick on the corner can you follow up with a drive rush into another air combo? Can't test it now since beta's over, but it should be incredibly flashy!
You can but if you do an air normal or air combo into DR it won’t work. So fse mp > chp > jump > ex dive kick > drive rush works.

@@tomaaza7943 gotcha. Figured but I wanted to make sure I understood. Honestly fse is still pretty unoptimized. You can get upward to like 4-5k damage. Also you get pressure and setups.
So times I activate are next touch deaths and I won’t reach level 3 and I want an easier time to try and open my opponent up.
But realistically… honestly… FSE probably could be overlooked rofl.

Yo kail ! I'm back here for another comment , since playing juri in the beta, I've struggled the most vs ryu players , shoto's were (NEVER ! ) a problem for me back in sf5 ! I feel like Juri has little to no anti fireball options in sf6 , don't you think one or more of these options should have anti fireball properties? (236 hk) (dive kick) ( feng shuei engine activation super dash hit) OR... while she has feng shuei engine active, she can dash under projectiles by pressing 6-6 ➡️➡️ just like back in the days of SF4 ?
Yea I’m not sure how to deal with fireballs. They’ve been giving me the most issues not because of damage but the chip to drive. It makes me want to avoid them at all costs, so I’ve been parrying them. I know I get more frame advantage from perfect parrying, but I don’t know what to do with it.
Juri feels incomplete. She really needs her teleport imo. Never thought I’d say it, I miss Ryodansatsu.
