P.s Thank you to everyone who has reached out to say that you're loving my book. It means so much to me!
For my UK audience the release date has been pushed back to April. It was supposed to come out sooner but unfortunately Amazon messed it up!
But again, it is available in the US and Canada right now 😊
The next video please Make a guess On how family guy rode to death Plot would be like
EXCELLENT WORK. LYDIA LOVES TIMELINES FAMILY GUY VIDEO GAMES 🎮 🕹
roblox
Lydia please play EA FC(Football/soccer).
If you're still taking recommendations. I recommend Tekken8
I totally would've tried this. It looks kinda awesome and the zombie theme suits Family Guy really well
I'm really tempted to replay the first 2 Family Guy videos game now
Omg 😂❤
@@LydiaLovesTimelines They're fun, but can get tedious fast
@@LydiaLovesTimelines You should look into not just the Simpsons hit + run game but The Simpsons Game because it was the last one they made
Hi Phantom Strider! I love your videos!
Family Guy, The Simpsons and Futurama all need to have more games produced, because honestly all three properties are bizarre enough to work in any form of game.
Agreed, I just miss licenced games in general
South Park still makes games
@@hunte5748yeah as much as some were complete trash genuinely there is a special charm to some licensed games
Seems like merchandise in general doesnt exist as much for shows outside t shirts lego and funko pops. Remember when you could get a spongebob car or a simpsons alarm clock? Or a garfield telephone?
Every video should start when a bus crashing and Herbert saying "Jackpot" cause that shits hilarious.
lol, ikr
@@torablackwell the way it cuts into the Oh jackpot like it makes it somehow at first kidn of comedic imho fwiw.. but because of how it is just so messed up between the Jerbert moments and the response to a rollover makes it just seem to go well.
@op ooh and a good tidbit crossing between a scenario on Fiff and FG Peter saying he crashed a bus into stuff and how he in church confesses he secretky blamed it on his kids.. lol like it would have made it any better.. .. due to being having for whatever reason been a Janitor cracking a cold one while alone on a school bus driving it around and then crashing into whatever.
I would to see the plot to Road To Death get repurposed as a Halloween special in the show or as a feature length episode
#bringbackroadtodeath
I wanna see a Family Guy version of the Simpsons Hit and Run
Fun Fact: Radical Entertainment, the developers of the Simpsons Hit & Run considered turning their cancelled Hit & Run sequel into a Family Guy game, after their publisher Vivendi refused to renew the Simpsons license.
I wouldn't mind a Family Guy game done in the style of the recent South Park games, and maybe have characters from American Dad and The Cleveland Show pop up as DLC characters. I could see Family Guy go all into the Beat em Up genre in an homage to Streets of Rage, River City Ransom, Final Fight, and even The Simpsons Arcade game. Even a Super Smash Bros homage game could work too, with Family Guy, American Dad, and Cleveland Show characters.
Not Snow Day.
Allways thought a Warioware style game going though cutaway gags would work.
It's a shame that the zombie one was cancelled
There is a Fox crossover game called Animation Throwdown, where you play characters from Family Guy, American Dad, Futurama, King of the Hill, Bob's Burgers, and Archer, but it's like a card game. And ne, The Simpsons aren't part of it due to their license with EA.
The store to buy the best cards in the game is also closed like the Deus Ex: Mankind Divided store. So much potential, wasted on shortsightedness!!!!
There's something beyond ironic of a zombie apocalypse being too dark for Family Guy of all things. Like you'd think that'd be the least dark thing to do with the cast.
I think that weird online card game that's like Family Guy, Bob's Burgers, Futurama, etc is about the best we have for a Family Guy game other than maybe the older ones.
Do you think you'll do a video on the Back to the Multiverse game since you brought it up here? And while on that the topic of cartoon MMOs, what about a video on Cartoon Network: FusionFall and the subsequent attempts by fans to revive it?
Both of the south park games are absolutely brilliant and really do feel like you're in that world. Hopefully Snow Day will live up to that standard as well
This actually looks pretty fun. I’m a sucker for the adult cartoons. Especially the video games. At first I thought this was their version of “Road Rage”-probably my favorite Simpsons game. The thriller part was so creative
This is my first video I’ve seen by you, and it’s so awesome honestly, this is so well done! As of for game suggestions, what’s some of your favorites to go off of? Do you know about Slay the Spire?
Too dark? ITS FAMILY GUY!
Yea Family Guy tries to be really dark and violent all the time.
@@CyberLance26 Ever since Season 8 when Showrunners changed, and all the characters became despicable pedos, murderers, rapists and deviants and they focus on horrible, uncomfortable humor and depictions of grossness and gore.
Content Engagement.
Great video! 👍🎉
Fun fact in family guy back to the multiverse you can find a bunch of old sprites, map designs, props from road to death
If you don't mind games with a seriously dark story and subject matter, topped off by it being juxtaposed by some seriously hilarious moments, then I'd honestly recommend giving the LISA trilogy a look. Not only are LISA: The Painful and Joyful utterly unforgettable experiences, but the fandom has gone on to release fangames for it that are very much on par with the original product, such as LISA: The Hopeful, LISA: The Timeless, LISA: The Unbreakable, and of course, LISA: The Pointless with it's wide array of it's own fan-expansions like Scholar Of the Wilbur Sin, Infinity Unfolds, and The Ultimate Modpack.
I couldn’t find your channel for a month!
There was also an online game called “American Dad Vs Family Guy Kung Fu” which was a Street Fighter clone where you could play as all members of both the Smith and Griffin families and as a joke, Street Fighter’s Ryu could be unlocked as a playable character
I played Back to the Multiverse with my Youngest Older Brother!
I have some game recommendations for ya. Downwell, Corn Kidz 64, Mysteries Under Lake Ophelia, Any Katamari Forever, Spark the Electric Jester 3, Pac-Man Adventures in Time, Obscure (and it's sequel), and Lost in Vivo.
Also, love your content. Brings a smile to my face seeing a new upload from you.
My best game recommendations for you to try out are dead by daylight (my personal favorite video game over the past few years) or ironically enough left 4 dead as you somehow mentioned in the video AS I was typing this comment, lmao. Love the video as always, Lydia!
Part of the reason the South Park games became so good was because of the low quality of the original games that came out when the series started. Games that couldn't balance the show's humor with unique enough game play to sustain a decent adaption game. And as for The Simpsons, they had SOOOOO many terrible Acclaim games (remember, they were LJN) that didn't even have the show's humor to make up for the horrid game play. And the one good game at the time was an arcade original that Acclaim made damn well sure to block a home console release. I've never played the Family Guy console games, but the first one really tried to get that early season random humor in, but just looks like it struggles with trying to be a game from what I've seen. Road to the Multiverse I only saw the cutscenes and at least it has a decent enough story, but that can't sustain a game.
I feel like a sandbox-y Simpsons Hit and Run mixed with GTA style game would fit Family Guy pretty well
I mean if it comes to videogames there is a lot I could suggest to you. I feel like in terms of humor, maybe Deadelic Point and Click Adventures might just be the thing for you. Edna & Harvey and Deponia come to mind and I am currently playing through these with my gf too.
Second however with Simpsonsbeing like the main intrest I know you have, maybe the Simpsons Game? I remember playing multiple times through the DS version and it did have a charme...comparing Versions of the game might be interesting for a potential video idea... but up to you. They are mildly entertaining.
Since I'm at the topic of video ideas. Your pitch for a Fox Smash Bros would actually be cool to listen to and it could be fun to see you come up with ideas for a roster and attacks. Plus it's guaranteed engagement in the comments.
Definitely looks like a better experience that the first family guy video game, it was mechanically very difficult to complete, I streamed it once and I can promise you 40% of the time spent in that game is replaying the same difficult missions over and over again
I’d recommend injustice if you’re into that sorta thing, or murdered: soul suspect is an amazing short experience
I tried the mmo back in the day. I was impressed by its graphics and how well it ran in browser. It should have been re-released or open sourced somehow imo. At least for the sole purpose of preserving its history.
After this video we want every Arthur's future
The animation in this game looks like Simpson's Hit and Run ironically. Thanks, for interesting video Lydia
I actually remember watching commercials for Family Guy Online when I was in fourth grade! I never played the game itself though.
Well, if you like "bat-shit-crazy" games, maybe you want to try out Conker's Bad Fur Day.
We really need more Family Guy and Simpsons games. Who agrees with me?
Nobody at Disney
I would.
The amount of licensed MMO games that made it to alpha or beta and then got axed is crazy.
Game suggestions? Killing Floor 2, Deep Rock Galactic, The Stick of Truth, Medal of Honor: Frontline, Painkiller, New Vegas, Metroid Prime, Tony Hawks Underground, Simpsons: Hit & Run, or Doom 2016.
I loved playing Family Guy Online! Despite the bugs it had, it was so much fun exploring. Such a shame that it closed. The zombie game looked cool as well. I hope we get a good Family Guy game one day!
I have first heard of this game via the lost media wiki when searching for articles related to the show, it's honestly would've been a very cool concept
Weird that Road to Death was "too dark" when it was clearly a horror spoof. I'm also surprised we never got a Family Guy minigame type of compilation for the Nintendo Wii. I can definitely see there being some kind of Family Guy vs Simpsons type of game down the road though. Personally, I'd like to see a 2D brawler for Family Guy.
i miss that really old family guy mobile game i used to play on my flip phone that was focused on Brian and Stewie
I don’t know why but I can kind of see this game releasing on the Nintendo switch
You forgot about Animation Throwdown which merges Family Guy, American Dad, Bob's Burgers, Archer, Futurama and King of the Hill
It seems to be a trend where a TV Show and adapt it into a Video Game, usually as a platform shooter. Which rarely works. Personally I’d like to see them take it into a direction of a Point and Click Adventure game.
Though I do admit that I wouldn’t mind trying out Road to Death.
If you are looking for some good video games to play, I do recommend these (if you haven’t already played them): Uncharted series, The Last of Us Part I & II, Horizon: Zero Dawn & Forbidden West.
Such an odd coincidence!
Just replayed back to the multiverse with my roommate
I know it’s not that popular, but I love the game personally
Seeing the scrapped original concept was certainly interesting, I feel like they could’ve made it into a whole Halloween DLC for back to the multiverse since it seems to use the exact same models and overall game build
Personally, I'd have preferred seeing an open-world Family Guy game in the style of The Simpsons: Hit and Run. Especially with Family Guy its would be genius to play it imo
They did release a Fox animation kart racer not too long ago, I think for mobile.
1:16 I'd suggest you play lil guardsman! at first I wasn't interested in the beginning until it started to become more juicy!! it's super good and can be funny at times! play it sometime lydia!
I’m a mobile gamer. I never played a Family Guy game outside of that phone tapping game.
Dont know if u played the A Plague tale Duology (Innocence and Requiem) I would highly recommend both of those games. No spoilers but its about a brother and sister (u play as the sister Amicia) living through the Black Plague (called the bite in game) while trying to cure your brother's mysterious illness called the Macula. I would recommend playing back to back as that's best storywise but be warned its a tear jerker and also may not be great if u're scared of rats as that's one of the main points as Hugo (the boy whos ur characters brother) can control the rats.
I remember seeing one of the South Park games at Family Video back in the day R.I.P
Some games I can recommend are from the Final Fantasy Series, Persona franchise, and Kingdom Hearts series! For Horror type- maybe something like Resident Evil, Silent Hill. A good RPG series I love is called Shadow Hearts!
You were asking for game recommendations? One I love is cult of the lamb. It's a cute rogue like with adorable art that also has you making a cute village like cult full of adorable animals. It's kinda like animal crossing except you can sacrifice someone if they piss you off or make them eat poop. Plus ton of lore. It's cute, dark, and extremely funny. I mean they just added breeding to it which can get some hilarious results of you get a hellspawn. Not sure if you're looking for games or if you've played it but I recommend it.
this looks like it became family Guy back to the multiverse video game
I remember playing some family guy mobile games created by Glu, if anyone remembers that mobile app maker. I vaguely remember it being 2D platformer and used the plot line of stewies evil half-brother and time travel.
Keep it up on your work and this video and channel
I love this video and channel
Thanks you for your video and channel
I was obsessed with both family guy games. I had the first one on PS2 and PSP just to find out they were exactly the same games. 🤦♂️ Lol. But I really don’t believe that the game was canceled because Seth MacFarlane deemed it too violent. It had to be something else. Like you said, Family Guy is insane to the point of scenes not being able to be shown on CZcams.
Game suggestions:
Sly collection (sly Cooper and the thievius raccoonus,2 band of Thieves, 3 honor among Thieves)
0:06 is INSANE
this game is one of the many family guy materials to use the unofficial font i think lmao
I think a HIGHLY underrated and unappreciated game that would be worth a try is Sunset Overdrive.
7:10 Stick of truth actually came out in 2014
You should TOTALLY try twitch streaming playing Hit and Run or one of the South Park games. You could even use your avatar as a V tuber if being on camera is what makes you nervous.
They should have had a Quagmire story mode where you spread the zombie virus like Stubb's.
They have the cartoon kart thing too on Apple Arcade with american dad an family guy Simpsons king of the hill etc
Honestly this doesnt hold a candle to the family guy free pc game that was around for 3 days bare minimum a week maximum in the 2010s. Complete recreation of quahog that you could interact with complete with references to earlier episodes. Actual side quests where you work with family guy characters where you get items for characters to perform activities in the show. Like stewie had a quest where you needed to beat up cheer leaders for an outfit and find a megaphone to give to stewie so he could reenact a scene from like season 1 or 2 of family guy. It was a fun game with an entire recreation of quahog to run around in. It was honestly similar to Simpsons hit and run except you cant drive. Either because it wasnt sustainable and Fox couldn't profit off it or it didn't have that large of a playerbase but the game shut down not too long after launch. Kind of a shame.
There was a Family Guy vs. American Dad fighting game that ran in Flash, around the time when American Dad debuted. It wasn't very good, though. The final boss was Ryu from Street Fighter II. When I finally saw him I was disappointed to see it was literally just Ryu's sprites from Street Fighter II and not redrawn to match the style of the Family Guy characters as I was expecting.
You asked for game recs.Sam and Max might be a series you would like. It's point and click, but the reason to play is the writing, which I think would stand up to the standards of comedies of 2000s TV (most of it is from the 2000s). There was even a kids cartoon in the 90s though it's... less great than the games imo?
In some ways because it's a video game series it's free to make jokes that TV wouldn't allow, but in general it doesn't need to push edgy buttons to do what it wants, so characters stay likeable. It's definitely got the late 90s/early 2000s "this is meta so it's funny" thing going on, but a lot of shows you like do, so maybe that's not even a negative. The character writing is interesting; the side characters usually get funnier after their introductions, once they get to get past their opening gag - reminds me superficially of American Dad, where the humor is more character driven after they put a lot of development in.
The games star Sam, a detective out of noir movie, and Max, a cloud cuckoo lander, who are inexplicable a talking dog and rabbit in a world that doesn't actually have many furries. They solve mysteries, and describing much more is kind of a spoiler because the games are kind of non-sequitur heavy. But less Family Guy manatee joke non-sequiturs and more "improve group has "and then?"'d themselves into strange places" non-sequiturs; like it all has meaning in the world.
The main characters also got to play poker with Brock Samson a couple times. that's fun.
I played the MMO as part of a closed beta and the open one. So upset when it shut down as it was so much fun.
I'm just happy that herbert is the thumbnail picture
I think if they followed the Red Dead redemption or Grand theft Auto gameplay format they could successfully pull off a very good family Guy game the open world mission-based combat style would work really well especially if they included missions based around the episodes from the series they have a bunch of material to work with and I'm sure a little bit of original material from the writers of the show would also help pad it out pretty well too
I was just watching this on my tv but when you said your looking for recommendations on games to play I immediately found you on my phone to to suggest : bioshock the series you can’t post about it and halo or horizon forbidden west and zero dawn
If you don’t know bioshock is a game based off a dystopian society under the sea and you have to survive amongst the chaos
How long does this stay up until YT notices the thumbnail?
Do you think that there could be a Family Guy RPG? It starts out when Peter, Quagmire, Cleveland and Joe are drinking at the Drunken Clam while bing watching both the Lord of the Rings Trilogy and Hobbit Trilogy. But due to a thunder storm, the four guys are transported into a mystical realm called Fantasy Land. Shocking of all, Peter has been turned into an Orc, Quagmire into an Elf and Joe becomes a Dwarf while Cleveland remains human. An old wizard that looks very similar to Herbert tells them that if they want to leave this realm, they must defeat the Evil Dark Lord (Spoiler Alert is Stewie). But if they want to defeat the Evil Dark Lord, the four must travel through the Human, Elven, Dwarven, Orcish, Gnomish, Beastfolk (Mostly Feline) and Merfolk nations to gain the Seven Gems of the Elements, Fire (Red), Earth (Green), Water (Blue), Wind (Purple), Lightning (Yellow), Light (White) and Darkness (Black). And so, the Wizard turns Peter into a Warrior with two handed sword, Quagmire into a Rogue with daggers, Joe an Archer with a bow and arrow and Cleveland a Mage with a staff.
Later party members will join Peter, Quagmire, Joe and Cleveland on their quest like a hot Female Merfolk Priest/Healer with a staff and white long hair, another hot emo Elven Warlock with a double bladed sword and medium black hair , an annoying and nerdy Female Gnome Engineer with a gun that looks very similar to Meg, a Male Beastfolk Druid with a spear that's just a stoner hippie, a Male Dwarven Barbarian with a two handed axe whose looks like one of the Seven Dwarves and a parody of Gimli from Lord of the Rings, a Male Orc Brawler with gauntlets whose a bit slow as well as looking a lot like Chris and a Female Human paladin with a sword and shield that's looks a lot like Lois but she's more chivalrous. And the Old Wizard is a last level companion.
The gameplay is one of four choices
Turned Based like Legend of Dragoon, Chrono Trigger and Cross, Final Fantasy 7, 8, 9 and 10, South Park Stick of Truth and Fracture But Whole and Persona 3, 4 and 5
Strategy like Fire Emblem, Baldur's Gate 3, Divinity Original Sin 2 and Warcraft 3
Action like Kingdom Hearts, Dragon's Dogma, Tales of Berseria and Arise and Final Fantasy 15 and 16
A Hybrid of Action and Strategy like Final Fantasy 12, White Knight Chronicles and Dragon Age
The levels go like this
Elven Forest Kingdom-Green Gem of Earth
Dwarven Mountain Kingdom-Red Gem of Fire
Beastfolk Desert Tribes-Purple Gem of Wind
Gnomish Cavern City States-Yellow Gem of Lightning
Merfolk Underwater Kingdom-Blue Gem of Water
Orcish Isle Kingdom-Black Gem of Darkness
Human Plains Empire-White Gem of Light
Dark Lord's Castle-Final Dungeon
So you’re telling me that Seth McFarland was appalled by the violence in the original concept even though family, Guy is just as violent or even more or is it just because it was a video game he didn’t like that it was so violent
Have you played the darkness Series its really good
Anyone remember Family Guy Online? I remember waiting to get a key to try the beta and loved it. Too bad it was cancelled
I'll look into it 🙂
i would reccomend Balatro if you like roguelikes and french suited cards
The newer Hitman games are absolutely amazing! I definitely recommend those!
Against the storm is a cosy and stressful city building rogue lite game. I enjoy it a lot and I should play more of it as well.
This game looks like a mix of a zombie survival game, Destroy All Humans, and Goat Simulator.
A family guy fighting game would be really cool
If I’m not mistaken there was an iOS family guy game that involved time travel and was like a platformer that I used to play in like 2012
Edit: It was called Time Warped
Heavy Iron made Scooby-Doo Night of 100 Frights, a game I absolutely love still to this day. If the plug hadn’t been pulled for Family Guy, it could’ve been a really dope game. Have you played The Simpsons Game? That’s good too
Its funny like you said of the big 3 adult comedy cartoons we've got great games for Simpsons and South Park whilst with Family Guy its only ever been bad.
Surprised they didnt just opt for a Hit & Run Clone considering they teied with Tapped Out.
1:17, for new games FF7R and Penny's Big Breakaway I've loved, Silent Hill Short Message is decent too and is free.
Otherwise, been playing a bit of Deus Ex.
Hey Lydia, when it comes to games, why not give the “Arkham” series a try? I’m replaying them with pleasure now almost two decades later, and I can see someone like you really appreciating the lore, small details, and fan service. Would love to get your opinion on them.
I think you would have a lot of fun with “fallout 4”. Seems like a great mix of dark and goofy for you to explore.
Love your content, thanks for the smiles.
I would always suggest Okami as a pretty solid game to play. The Sly Cooper games are also really great too! They're on the older end of things, but always a good time.
there those phone games like that family guy Mario kart spin off and that animation throwdown game
If you need Videogames, my recommendations would be:
- gta 5
- oddworld: strangers wrath
- smash bros
- undertale and/or deltarune
- Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy (2023)
- Minecraft
Lydia Back to the Multiverse is a very fun game and had a decent speed run community and the PC version is great to play co-op
I hope Family guy Online comes back someday.
Guess as a Creative Mind I comment a Pitch.
Show/Theme: Family Guy.
Genre: Open 3D Adventure with some platforming, combat and puzzle solving.
Story: Griffen Family Members getting there own chapters of a there day to day adventure with new Episode like stories focusing on each chapter main set of characters, Chapter 1 for explain giving us a Peter and Stewie episode where Peter get interest in Duff Beer Competition where he have to do these weird and humorous challenges against other Quahog drunks well Stewie get fed up with no one buying him a new toy he see on TV and goes off on a mission to break into a toy store and steal one if no one going get him one. Each Chapter will have these type of A and B plots giving us times where we can play as different characters from the family and some of the important secondary characters.
Gameplay: Most gameplay will be in a 3D world where you can attack, jump and use items or pickup stuff, you can interact with the environment for gags or easter eggs to the show, you also depending on the chapter can play alternate play styles like driving, run and gunning, racing, top down puzzle solving, and more. Each Chapter also have fun cutaway gags you can do and play out (Similar to the Family Guy The Video Game), well you have a mix of characters to play as from Peter, Lois, Stewie, Chris, Meg, Brian and some friends like Cleveland and Quagmire. You also not stuck in Quahog as there be travel chapters, going to certain location from outside the area, and even a callback to Family Guy Back to the Multiverse and the scrap Zombie Survival version.
Appeal: The appeal of this game is to recreate the feeling of a Family Guy Episode into a game formate with each Episode being a Chapter and have about a Season worth of story Ideas for each chapter, it is like your paying 60 USA$ for a season of Family you can interact and play with each chapter taking an average of 20-40 minutes to beat and having 14-24 of them depending on desire length and content you want, game can also have Paid DLC for more Chapters with a bulk of 10 being 30USA$ maybe even recreating pass episodes in this DLC. It will have a lot of appeal not just from family guy fans but by Video game Fans if you nail the gameplay, the writing and the jokes, just don't lean on current trends or memes and try making fresh jokes that people could meme and copy after for best results.
Thats my Pitch. Feel like it not the only person thinking these ideas but hey, better saying them then keeping them locked up inside your mind.
"We wan't a game akin to Left 4 Dead!"
Proceds to make it Dark and Violent like L4D is
"Noooooooooooo! We cannot have the game be this dark and Violent remake it now!".
The Legend Of Zelda: Skyword Sword for Nintendo switch. Can stop right now. It’s like a 2010s classic fantasy fun.
If you are still reading those comments, I suggest you try Rayman 2 The Great Escape and Rayman 3 Hoodlum Havoc. My childhood games. Great videos as always!
1:14 Have you considered checking out Sonic Adventure 1 or 2
This is probably the shortest video on the channel
I feel the road to Death game looked much more interesting than the other FG games. Also I always kinda wondered about the “Too dumb to understand the game” thing.
Hopefully this video doesn't get flagged
