Hello fellow artists,
The folder album is so easy to make! A couple of hours, 1 pad, and 1 die are the bones of this album. Actually, you can make 2 or 3 of these albums from just one 12x12 pad and it is easy enough that all levels of crafters can easily make one. The supply list is minimal, so this makes it affordable as well.
Don’t let it fool you with its easy, friendly format. This album packs plenty of mats for you adhere your photos, journaling, and recipes. It also features plenty of room for goodies in the 6 generous pockets.
If you’d like to make one for yourself, I have created a step-by-step video tutorial. I hope you check it out and make one for yourself or as a gift.

It's funny, as soon as you mentioned concerns with the cutting was right about the same time that I thought "There's no way I could do this with scissors - I'd have to use my paper trimmer and then try to fussy cut around the top without ruining it," so now I wouldn't have to! Which gives me the impetus to get the die, not just to make this of course, but it will be an added bonus. Thank you - very nice album!
So glad that worked out. It is great die set. TYSM
Love the simplicity of the album! Well put together. Thank You!!

💕Beautiful mini album, so adaptable for different collections and well and clearly explained. I may use a trimmer to cut the papers first and then do any fussy cutting afterwards. A great idea and a lovely collection from G45 💕 I love that your background music is quiet and even quieter when you speak 🙏. Thank you so much for sharing another sweet little project🤗 x
Thank you for watching and for your great feedback! Happy paper crafting!
TYSM for your comment. So nice of you to note the little details that I hope make the viewing more pleasant. ❤
I think I will use my cricut to cut all the pieces to make this gorgeous project ❤

Love this, Madi! Saving to tutorial and now I want that die. LOL #Enabler. Wouldn't let me save to my tutorials. Hmmm Love ya!

I can’t wait to try this!!!

Madi the paper chosen for this project is beautiful!

Just watched your Window Tabbed Tags video. I really like the idea of combining the 2 of these. Die cutting out a window for the front of these pockets (not including the cover) before attaching to the spine would be great. I would need to be careful about the placement of the window so that it isn't to close on the left otherwise the black edge of the spine might show. You are giving me so much inspiration today. Thank You!
Great idea! Love it ❤

I love this project; it seems very doable. I don't have this die set (it's on my wishlist), but I do have similiar one that I could adapt to this. From the overhead view toward the end of the video; it looks like there is enough room that I could add a couple of extra flaps. Maybe not to everypage, but at least 1/2 of them or maybe an extra flat pocket or 2. Just because I can't resist flaps and pockets : ) Thanks for Sharing. I'm definitely doing this!
Exactly, plenty of room to add on. TYSM for watching and commenting

Magnifique projet. J’aime beaucoup le côté géométrique et répétitif du motif central! Bravo très beau.
Merci ❤
Beautiful! Love it!❤. Your directions are simple, clear and concise. Thank you for sharing you ideas and talents.
Wow TYSM for the amazing compliment ❤
I think it would be a good idea to cut out additional six cover pieces out of the same craft paper. Then you can sandwich the black tab between the two identical pieces and you'll get a completely smooth side to create the pocket with. There will be no danger of the tab catching when you slide the mat in and out, because it will be hidden.
Thank you for watching and for your feedback! Happy paper crafting!
Love this project so much that I bought the folder die so that I can make several of them for gifts. However, could you possibly share a supply list along with instructions?
Hi Linda, the supply list is in the description box, but it is super simple: Enchanted Forest 8x8, die set (which you purchased, yay), glue, plain card stock, adhesive, scissors, G45 hybrid ink pad, pencil, and a piece of trim for closure. The step by step instruction are provided in the video. Hope that helps. Can't wait to see what you make. Be sure to tag me!
Graphic 45 needs to make coordinated matting dies. Even if just edge dies for the two shapes.
Or
I’d be figuring out the size of each mat, cut the rectangle and use the dies to cut the tops.
That’s too much hand cutting for the base of an album.
Hi Sharon, thanks for watching and for your feedback! Happy paper crafting!

This is a beautiful folio and your directions are easy to follow! What weight cardstock did you use? Thanks so much.
TYSM for watching and commenting. Pretty sure it was around 60-80 lb.
Very cute idea but unfortunately a die cut machine is one thing I don’t have yet
Glad you enjoyed the project Nora! Hopefully you can get a die cut machine soon, happy paper crafting!
It is a great investment, so hopefully you’ll be able to get one soon. In the meantime m, it might be a bit more work but you can trace the die and cut by hand. TYSM for watching and commenting
Beautiful album but too much fussy cutting.
