I haven’t used a beard straightener in a while. I got a short beard, i usually put the oil in, straighten it. Then put butter in it. Just makes my beard soft. As a man of color, it def not a every week thing like others do. My gf jacked me for my heat brush tho lol
I use a metal pick but after I use a leave in conditioner and pepperment oil and it works for me and I don't use instead I use a detangeler brush which is better!✌️
Excellent list and explanation of your points. I originally would have said beard oil number 1 and beard wash number 2, but the more I think about it I have to agree with you. A beard straightener doesn't really work for me either, although I do have one and use it on occasion.
I could see why you may have initially put beard oil as number 1. For me I was just thinking after you wash your beard depending on the type of wash it could leave your beard feeling dry so the beard oil had to come next after the beard is clean. And yeah I can’t do anything with heat bro. Keep it away from me lol
My barber uses a metal pick, but I use plastic. I'm thinking about getting a wood or carbon pick. It's rare if I use a beard straightener. Only if my beard is looking raggedy & I'm going out. But not everyday or even weekly. Like once every 2 months. 💪🏿 Overnighter
For me. Having a coarse and curly beard. The heat just destroys my beard. Usually takes a week or more to feel about 80% again. I’ve tried heat brushes and blow dryer.
As a white man with a grey/white beard, for me a beard straightener was a must almost daily at the 2 to 4 inch range. But now with a longer beard I haven't touched it in months, but I do use a blow dryer daily

I’m about to cut my beard off to try and start a new one without patches. Would y’all go with “Beard of God” products or “Beard Club”. I’m going to be disciplined in my routine but I need help.

Wash then Conditioner then Oil then Balm then growth cream
