I love your overgrown orchard! Its absolutely great and the animals thank you. A friend of my daughter and SIL came up to Indiana from Alabama. He dumpster dives in Bama and decided to give it a go up here. A cop stopped him and told him it was illegal to dumpster dive in Indiana and he would end up doing jail time if he continued. Of course I started laughing and told the friend that the cop was an idiot because its legal in all 50 states to dumpster dive. I explained about private property signs and to leave if he was told too. ☺
I love it when FD finds stuff on the curb. It's like he's some kind of treasure detector. He always finds absolutely amazing stuff.

I have always kept a wild area in my backyard. Possum, racoons, squirrels and an occasional deer. So glad you do too.

Amy your back 40 could’ve turned into an oasis. Put your walkway in and maybe a small pond - animals would love that. Then a small bench for relaxing. It can still be overgrown but beautiful! Add some flowers and there you go. A little respite for you and the animals. Love your videos and seeing all your family ❤

You might want to keep an eye on your cats if you have raccoons and foxes in your “back forty.” We lived in town also and had issues with some of the wildlife and our pets. Also, ground hogs can be very destructive!
