    This has to be the most over-engineered thing to force someone to pour a can of beer correctly. I don't hate it, but I really don't need it.

    Appreciate the effort in producing the device. However,far too expensive and not exactly practical in a normal household.

    This is neat and I wouldn’t mind it, but it’s only for the UK market. The site only ships to the UK and the American site only sells glasses, hats and t-shirts 😖

    Btw this gadget would sell if it was for a keg containing 10 pints on top - not a can. It’s the “can” that devalues the whole idea.

    • @l8ydg
      @l8ydg Před 9 měsíci

      Personally for me the can system is better, no need to drink a whole keg within a timeframe. The price of the unit however is insaine

    Had to check this wasn't published on April 1st!
    That's a lot of money for a can dispenser.
    You can buy a Lindr keg setup for less.

      it's far too expensive - especially in comparison with the Perfect Draft system and the Blade & Sub systems. The cans are expensive too! But the actual cost of the machine alone means that it's simply not worth it for me (and many others I am sure). The price per pint (excluding the draught system cost) is £2.91, on average a pint of lager on the Perfect Draft works out at £2.04 (with the 3 keg discount code), and the machine is £400 cheaper as well - plus you can pour over 40 different types of beer. Guinness at home would be great, but this is a very very misjudged price point IMO.

Love using the cradle on the system and seeing the guinness surge & pretty much pour itself ☺️👌 it is definetly a crowd pleaser when friends visit 😁

    My local pub has one of these machines, it’s fine for single pints, but if someone orders a round, you have to do complete pints (with resting time) one at a time. It takes over 10 minutes for 3 pints. Fine for home use, but useless in a pub scenario.

  • @staticsinvolved6936

    As others already mentioned it‘s extremly overprieced. Maybe Guinness should release a suitable product for ‚perfect draft system’ or go for a solution with a 10L barrel on their own - that‘s something i‘d surely buy. Would be awesome if you don‘t need to refill when drinking with a friend for the night :)

  • @sheireland3737
    @sheireland3737 Před 2 lety +6

    I’m Irish. A Guinness drinker for 30+ years. Who in Diageo decided that Guinness should be served cold?? It’s horrible cold. Guinness is like red wine and should be served at room temperature. Anyone who drinks Guinness knows this and knows how to pour it. So this product is simply wrong in so so many ways. It’s just Guinness in a can. Obviously no one in the Diageo “innovation” dept actually drinks Guinness. (Remember “new taste” coke in the 80s?? - innovation isn’t always good). Note in 1759 there was no refrigeration and no nitrogen b/s. This “cold Guinness” is a new thing - as in last 25 years. I worked in bars when I was a student in the 80s and Guinness was never cold. So this isn’t the proper way to drink Guinness imo.

    He lost me at "you'll find 4 special cans of Guinness designed for the tap" - This means you pay £700 for a tap which will only be of use unless you buy special cans. What if Guiness stop producing them? If they were to make a system they should have at least made it compatible with the normal can standard. This is what I do not like about Guiness products. Just make something designed to take Guiness draught cans OR make a widgetless version without the fancy brand names like "Nitrosurge" etc.
