this is inhumane where is the law in Ghana? Nobody should take the law of the land into his or her own hand no matter what institution you are in. Let the law according to the constitution of Ghana work.
May justice prevail for the deceased soldier and all the innocent civilians beaten by these thug "soldiers". This is not good for the image of Ghana.

The law is in pocket of gang leaders who think they can do just anything and get away with it. Do we remember why we have major mahama round about at airport hills. Some civilians fool too much. This is not a person's wife po. It is not right for military to beat civilians but ashaiman has become a hub for some criminals and they need small military action.
A friend that lives in Tamale just told me about this. Police or military get over excited when their own gets hurt or murdered. I wish they would get that excited when normal people are hurt or killed!! He says a "top military official" apologized, but that isn't enough! The innocent people that have been beaten and had property destroyed should be compensated.

I am really surprised at the treatment of the youth in Ashaiman. Why did the soldiers not do the same thing at Denkyira Obuasi when Captain Mahama was lynched.?
We're you un ghana? It was a 1 week show o. Ashaiman is a few hours operation. The captain mahama one a, even media did not dare pass by.
I really see tge seriousness in this. Though, putting dramatizing music on what is supposed to be documentary material takes away the seriousness from it.
If laws cannot be enforced the lawful ways in Ghana, the youth should then go to war with them, you only die once abi,this is not way to handle the situation.
Common sense lacking
Please how should it be handled when gang leaders and some people who think they own areas behave in unlawful ways.
If the youth want to fight the armed forces, they can try. I wonder if they have the discipline to face them.
If persuasion in ashai.an fails, small military action is needed. The place is becoming too notorious for the things they were beaten for.

So next time the civilian will respect the army uniform.
They should go after the bad guys not the innocent civilians who taxes make them a living...This is unethical and crass. Will they do respond with same zest and freeness should Al Shabab insurgent make appearance within our jurisdiction? This makes them look weak for me..what do they seek to prove by attacking unarmed innocent civilians? They should do better.
