Clean. I actually already own most of the gear, but I love how you’ve put it all together.
Much appreciated Dane 💯 thanks for stopping by
Man i been waiting for someone to do this for the longest time around the r6 mark II . Decent "Shoulder rigs" for the R6 set up really dont exist
I've never been a fan of shoulder rigs. Just not for me. Thanks for stopping by! 🙌

Thanks Nick!! Much appreciated 🙏
Amazing and smart rig :) little question. You connected the zoom to the camera with shotgun mic, what if with the extra xlr connector we connect more mics does it record to the camera the multi mic setup ? and how does it record to the camera as one track or multiple track ? Thank you.
Thanks Patrick! That's a great question. I've only recorded in mono with the zoom. I'll have to do a test using both xlr ports to see if the tracks will be recorded separately in camera. I know if you're just using the zoom, the tracks will be separated (and you can set one to mono and the other to stereo). But I'll run a test in the next day or 2 and let you know what I find out!

Don't you get fan noise of the atomos through the mic being close to the monitor?
Because of the deadcat, I don't get that much noice especially if I'm shooting at 24fps. If I'm shooting higher fps for b-roll, then the fan noise will increase but I won't be using the audio captured during b-roll anyway. Plus, noise reduction in audacity is the way. And, having a mic on cam is backup audio for me if my lav mics fail. If it's an interview scene, the mic will be boomed as close to the subject as possible.
Is there any difference in sounds between a deadcat and the soft black cloth that the mic comes with by default?
I think the biggest difference with the deadcat is that it's way better to use outdoors where there's wind. The 'fur' cuts down on wind noise drastically and I don't notice much, if any, difference of sound quality vs using a foam screen
oh, that's cute
Cute?? This rig is hard af 😂😭
Doesn't the cage slide ride into the arca swiss baseplate attachment???
🤯🤯🤯 perhaps?? I need to try that lol and I'll get back to you! Thanks for that question 💯
Yes it does lol
@@CharlesLuckyglad it worked :)
