I always do it with clear gel from the dollar store it looks just like water it even has bubbles and you don't have to worry about bursting as much as water just a suggestion tfs love your work 😊
Hey, could even use clear dish soap and get a lot of bubbles LOL! Great idea aqualps1!

dippity - do hair gel from dollar store is a light blue & has bubbles that stay in, make great looking water.

This is sweet. I used to make similar cards w hair gel instead of water as it isn't as likely to leak. A few micro beads would look cool in there too as they would resemble bubbles!
Very smart! Water is the last thing you should use. It will get icky fast.

If u put in some baby oil, some water, and some blue food coloring it will look so cool, like a lava lamp!!!!!!!!!

For those not able to get small ziplocs like in the video, you can use the fuse tool and a page protector to make your own leak proof package.
Right, because we all have a fuse tool?

"Everything old is new again". We did this many years ago with a hair gel - Dippity-Do. I'm sure there must be a modern equivalent. Cute card!
I love this card. I never seen it made before using water, I absolutely love it. Great job!
Such a cute card! I have been making these types of cards for years and always used hair gel too. If you add glitter or confetti it suspends it well. This will not last forever of course, but neither would the water I don't think. I had always laminated mine to seal in the liquid, but yours is a super technique as not everyone has access to a laminator.

That's incredible! I love Lawn Fawn cards, always so creative and fun. I though maybe adding some tiny, clear, sparkly glitter might have made it more visible that there is actual water in there. What a great idea. Love to see more cards with interesting ideas. 😍 Thank you.
