This is my personal opinion on the Aegis Avenger Titan

She's an old design, but still the best starter ship!
Another really great thing worth mentioning is the acceleration, something like 17-18g while in vacuum (as of 3.17 anyway)
Makes for a pretty potent bounty-hunter or general PVE ship with an all-ballistic loadout, putting a fixed AD4B (size 4) on the nose and two fixed size 3 cannons under the wings will give this ship a LOT of punch for her weight class.
The cargo bay makes her alright for moving boxes, but the Titan really shines as a dropship. Just make sure your passengers are crouched down so they don't get thrown around.
Great for grouping up on 890 jump missions or SPK where you can just make a close pass with the doors open and let everyone EVA out, then either fly off or play fighter for a bit.
Great for bunkers too, since you can land close to the doors and tractor loot/bodies into the back for quick and easy storage.
A work around I have use to access the Interior (bed area) with full cargo onboard: Enter the cockpit at the front, then exit seat (default key binding 'Y'). No need to move that dang cargo crate when the Multi-tool keeps glitching out and making you waste way more time than you wanted. (This trick works well to avoid face plants during EVA too!)
I love the smaller ships. The fact that this one has a bed is pretty cool. I'm trying to work my way up to an M50. They're so fast.
This ship would be perfect if it had
-a single Large gun rack,
-a normal Twin gunrack
-a 3 pack pistol rack,
-a inventory storage box
-and some folding seats in the back over each of the access panels..
Hopefully the gold standard pass will add a lot of what you mention. At least it should!
@EvenLease44 it definitely will. All newer/ already gold standard ships have that, and Avenger is quite old. What I am hoping for is a bathroom in it.

@@PhillipLemmon it does doesnt it lol... i hate drake though... but the irony isnt lost on me.. Nah its more just those ships are newer and the titans were some of the 1st ships. they are 9+ years old, so they lack modern features.
I started with this ship and I loved it. I upgraded it to the C1 Spirit when I was looking for upgrades and was like OMG a bigger Titan looking ish ship! So I got the C1.
8 months late for commenting (watched on release) but had to come back. Considering getting the infamous penguin back in the fleet especially with modularity in the works to give access to all 3 current functions. Such a good all-rounder that wouldn't mean id have to get rid of anything in my current fleet
A question: I had a box with stuff stored in my Titan, while it was docked in a station. Occasionally I would retrieve the ship and go to the hangar and put more stuff in the box. One day, after not too long, the box was simply gone :O No major updates, didn't 'claim' the ship either, only had it docked and retrieved it. Is there a limit to how long items can be stored in cargo on ship? Also, I equipped my Titan with a S4 Rhino Repeater on the nose and a S3 Panther 337 Repeater on each wings :D Now it stings!
No unless it bugged it should stay persistent. So it probably bugged. Hope that doesn't happen again for you! That Titan sounds DEADLY. Love it!

What I find annoying about this ship is that it doesn't have a cupboard for armor because soon you won't be able to fly with armor and a weapon on your back
I hope during its gold standard pass they add a weapons and suit locker, it needs both

I’m currently sick with my lungs killing me but also yeah trying to figure out why my audio is messy at times
Can you also let me know what you are hearing that is weird? I am trying to iron out the audio issues.
@@EvenLease44 sure, for example at 2:30 on its like there is a second person whispering and repeating after you XD, you can hear it on that 'plenty' very well it might be the recording software that you are using or it might even be recording from multiple sources. good luck with everything it is a very nice video otherwise
@@fico1557 thank you again! Seems to be my AI noise cancellation on my headsets software, going to mess with it.
for a while i had a problem with realtek making a 'microphone array' with my laptop and headset mic where it used two microphones and it had a similar effect you, might want to look into that
