- Lucy vies to beat Betty Ramsey when the two compete in a local gardening contest.
I Love Lucy is an American television sitcom starring Lucille Ball, Desi Arnaz, Vivian Vance, and William Frawley. The black-and-white series originally ran from October 15, 1951, to May 6, 1957, on CBS. All 180 episodes aired on Mondays.
In total 180 episodes of I Love Lucy were produced, plus a pilot episode. The pilot, which was not made for broadcast and did not air as part of the show's original run, is generally not counted as one of the episodes and therefore listed separately for reference. It is, however, available on DVD and Blu-ray releases of the first season. Following I Love Lucy, a further 13 one hour-long episodes were produced under the title of The Lucille Ball-Desi Arnaz Show (later and more commonly known in syndication as The Lucy-Desi Comedy Hour) with the same cast and later packaged as seasons 7, 8 & 9 under the I Love Lucy series.
Little Ricky was so adorable!!
I love I Love Lucy when they lived in the county at West Port ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I love when they lived in thr country episodes. ❤
Same, so fun
The country episodes are very underrated except for one or two of them. I love the Tulip episode
@@kellie-nd1yp I agree. I also love when they move to the country, those first few episodes are so great.
She mows the lawn n runs over her tulips n gets wax ones , but the sun melts them . Ha ha ha
"I hope all your tulips get root rot!" LOL!!! But don't mess with Lucy and Betty did start it!
Yes, Betty started it!! CAT FIGHT!!!!

Well They Didn't Have To Be Mean To Ethel.🙄
That's how women get when the claws finally come out.
What happened next? Fors anybody know? It got tuined by mowing, didn’t it? Awe, you poor thing, Lucy! 😓
Ohhh, yea! And watching Lucy drive around back and forth on the lawn mower was hilarious! And when the fake tulips 🌷 started to wilt! Oh Boy!!! 😅
I own just about every episode on VHS...I 'Love' Lucy!!🤗😃❤
I think I will buy the adapter to hook up my VCR to my smart 📺 pop some 🍿 and binge!! 🥰
The comments they made to Ethel were somewhat rude.
Yea i didn't like that
@02chevyguy I don’t think they were really mad at Ethel I think they were mad at each other and took it out on Ethel
You know how it is when the claws come out.
As if!! ❤
Hi
This was the only really funny episode after the setting was change to Connecticut. I lived in Connecticut for a number of years. It's where fun goes to die.
I’m not American but please, do explain why! Was it crime rate? Environmental? You made it sound awful!
@@hana.the.writer5074 I'm a city boy who got moved to a suburban bedroom community in Connecticut when I was 14.. I lived there for 5 years, found the experience rather dull, moved back to the city for college and stayed. I find that American suburban life leaves a lot to be desired. Suburban communities feel very cut off and isolated. They say the schools are better in the suburban areas. They do have nicer facilities and smaller class sizes in the burbs, but I think the city schools offer a better cultural experience. I doubt that my SAT, test scores for college, would have been different if we stayed in the city. In the suburbs, I went to an almost all white school. I found the lack of racial diversity, awkward. I don't like strip malls and suburban streets with no sidewalks. Inevitably to have any fun in the suburbs, you have to take a train into the city. My family is still in Connecticut. They say it's pretty boring, but that's where they settled and my siblings raised their families. Having a big house is not a life goal for me. I enjoy being able to step outside of my building and having at least 10 different ethnic cuisines to choose from, walk to museums and theater, hearing conversations in a multitude of languages, and not worrying about what the neighbors think. Connecticut was very stifling for me.
I loved the Connecticut episodes.
@@markrichards6863 If you mean New York, you might step outside of your building and never come back. But "others" are so quaint to you, aren't they? It's like taking a field trip every day.
@A Krenwinkle I moved to NYC 24 years ago. I've never had a problem, never been, mugged attacked, been a victim of any crime. I think you have a very skewed and misinformed idea about what it's like to live in NYC. We have the best cultural attractions, food, and variety of things to do, right outside the front door. Tourist come here, go to Times Sqare, a Broadway show, and MoMA, and think they've experienced NYC. That barely scratches the surface.
